December 8th: By bankroll was created by winning a 2700 person freeroll. It's very exciting to win a tournament that big. I won $15.

December 9th -16th: Stayed even, i would win a small SNG and then lose it all, then finish in the money again and wasn't getting any where.

December 17th-19th: Finally made a break through, finished in the money 5 out of 8 times in 45 person SNG's and won 2 of them. I worked my bankroll up to about $56.

December 20th - December 25th: Tried playing some ring games for the first time. I was unsuccessful and lost all of my money in those 5 days. Kinda ruined my chritmas when i lost my last penny. I should have never stopped playing SNG's where i was successful. Plus once i lost some of my bankroll i was risking too much of my money considering that the minumum buy-in for those ring games is $2.

A week ago i won $2 in a freroll and since than have built my bankroll up to $27.70 from playing SNG's. If i run bad hopefully i wont lose my whole bankroll from bad decisions, hopefully
I will only lose a little bit.

I learned that increasing your bankroll is easy if your good. Keeping it is hard unless you know how to manage your bankroll.

Don't make the same mistake i did. I won't agian becuase it sux going broke

Bummer. I've done that twice now with freeroll earnings - the second time I managed to keep the balance afloat for a couple of months, but it eventually got ground back down.

It's really hard (if not impossible) to practice proper bankroll management with such small amounts though. You're not really properly rolled to play any game and rake on the micro levels is extra high. Of course, once you've built the amount up a bit then bankroll management becomes very important.

Good luck with this attempt though!

Done this a couple of times as well. I'm hoping to run well enough to place in a freeroll again so I can try NOT to go broke this time. hah

I have never lost my entire bankroll, ever. I started online with $150 about 3 years ago. It got down under $80 once, but that's as close to going broke as I ever got.

ya dude i put $50 on and built it up to $115 in like a week, and for some reason i started playing heads up for like $50 ring game and was outplaying this guy but he sucked out on me like 3 times to make me go busto, i should have never played those high levels, totally tilted after 6 days of awesome play, tilt can get to me big time haha.

I voted yes, because I lost my bankroll twice in less than a week.

First deposit: $100, gone after 80 minutes at $0.50/$1
Second depost: $40, gone after 3 days of more careful play, but not careful enough
Third deposit: $60, have applied proper BRM and I haven't had to deposit ever since

your right stick to the sng's and i go by what chris ferguson says on his way to 20k from zero, never buy into a cash game or a Sit & Go with more than 5 percent of your total bankroll (there is an exception for the lowest limits: I'm allowed to buy into any game with a buy-in of $2.50 or less, it will take awhile depending on how many sng's u play then you can move up limits
