bankroll management ?

Ill have 10 dollars in my left in my account ? any advice on bankroll management? what games should i play?

What site? What do you normally play? What did you start with?

If you are serious about running that amount up, I would recommend the 25 cent 45 person SNG on pokerstars (if that is where you are) or the $1 DoN's on Merge. Don't know what site you play on, so it is hard to help.

I think microgaming has 10cent HU sng's & 25cent 6seat & 10seat sng

respect to the fact that you want to follow brm and improve as a player..

but 10 dollars?! the rake is ridiculous at the mini-micros.. you're probably better off saving up and starting a roll with a bigger amount.

im at colt poker . been grinding all day with my ten dollars and am breaking about even then unlocked a five dollar bonus . been playing the 1 and 2 dollar double up tournaments

I would say save up a bit more and follow a really strict style of bankroll management.

$10 i would not be playing £2 DoN's thats for sure, they are pretty soft, but it only takes a 5 game losing streak and your broke

not sure on the buy ins at colt, but play 25c SnG's or something

I'd say split em up.

Play cash games for a couple of months, and if that doesnt work, try tourneys with the other half.

I agree with playing double up tourneys but agree that with $10 you have GOT to stick with $1 tourneys, you just havent got the BR for $2 ones.

I'd stick to the single table DOLLAR games until you break $25...at least

I had the same thread/question a little more than a week ago about my small amount at America's Cardroom and I was lucky to triple the amount right away, but I lost one-third of it again trying to play higher-priced games a bit too soon.

I now intend to sticking to $1-3 games and freerolls until I at least break $80-$100...

...and when I say higher-priced games from there nothing higher than $5 until the next milestone I set myself for, and grind grind grind

Keep it low and just be patient....that's the key

if u are on poker star i advice 0.10$ + 50 add on, and 0.25$ + 100 add on, also sit & go for 0.25$...
