I dont understand how you know what the buy in for your tournaments should be if your bankroll is X. Is there a rule?

I can't seem to walk away either, however i am in a wheelchair so I would have to roll but it seems in the last month i have cashed in freerolls on at least 4 different sites and no matter how much i tell myself ok don't touch it I sit and play it for hours and hours until its gone. Don't get me wrong I have a blast basically throwing it away but maybe thats because it wasn't my money in the begining and it feels different but i sure would like to figure out a good way to start banking a buck instead of blowing it.

2% on sit n gos cash games.. 1% on MTTs..

i dont agree with you,,, if you just keep the furgeson rule you just have to step back when you loosse.. and go up when you win

Well I don't know which is best the sngs bore me to death and i finally figured out that if i can cash or win in nl hold em games then i should play the nl hold em rings instead of the fixed limit. Since that amazingly simple revelation I turned the 12$ i won in todays freeroll into 70 and have a set plan to play the .10/.25 tables 5$ at a time seeing as i turned 5$ into 30 twice tonight. Not every 5$ will go that way and that is where i think i have finally found some control and stability in my bankroll management.

There are a lot of br systems out there and they all love it. Check the available strategies and stick to one to prevent you going bankrupt....

It's all about discipline, the same as poker and the strategies:D
