I have been playing and withdrawing ( and depositing ) from many online poker sites
since the late 90's.
From my experiences in doing so, the one thing that emerges time after time is big downswings after making that first
Call it what you want but it is a fact in my experiences.
One thing I will say though is, by keeping your stack at a site longer than perhaps you want to for fear of a bad run of cards coming your way, the site does benefit.
If 100 players with say $1000 each BR hold on for a few extra weeks, thats $100,000 still in the sites coffers, nice work if you can get it.
Saying that, it makes no difference to me if they make fat interest profits, in fact fair play to them I say.
I am not defending or slating poker sites, I am just saying how it has been for me.
