Hey Everyone,
Am sure we have all had our fair share of bad beats, but am sure we all have a hand full of bad beats that we remember, that don't let us sleep well at night, or even make us change our play at the tables.
Here is one of my worst bad beats.
1) I am in Mid-Position, and I have a nice hand As Qd... so I raise three times the blind... and it goes all around to the big blind who calls... so I figure he might be defending this blinds, or he had a big hand as well...
the flop comes:
Ad 7c 8c
So he checks, and I raise the pot size... he calls...
Turn: 9h
Again I raise, this time half the pot... and he just calls
the river: Qh
So I raise again, this time enough to put him all in... and he calls...
he turns over Js 10s
to beat my two pair with his straight...
the worst part is, how could he call my big pre-flop raise, and every other raise after... it was purely insane in his part... and he got lucky, but players like that are what I watch out for... because they play any old hand and get lucky against a strong starting hand.
Love to hear some of your bad beat stories.
