I played full tilt poker for a long time until the US banishment a couple years ago and I returned just two or three months ago. I think I did not played poker games for a period of 2 or 3 years.
Superbowl Sunday when the Colts Played the Bears 2007 3 months was my longest time away after finishing 10th where top 9 played it out for 1 million at Paradise Poker. I was literally sick to my stomach going from first place in chips to out the next hand after my Pocket Aces lost all in to AQ where the river gave me the set and him the straight. That close to going to Bermuda to play out the winner takes all 1 million first prize. So damn close....
A very long,i think aobut 2 or 3 years.
I stop play because i got hard job to work and i don't have time, year by year i forget on poker, last year i play with my friends and next day i open pokerstars again
About 3 or 4 years. I played online pretty regularly from 2006 to 2011, then came back for a month or two (in 2013 I think). Looking to start playing again now.
I would say that the longest time I have been away from poker might had been some days /1 week , not more , I generally play constantly poker since I first started .Nowadays I play everyday , I think I'm gonna change it , play 5 days a week to have more time to study the game or relax , do sth else instead
I played on full tilt until i heard about black friday then i stopped playing. I Came back about 2 months ago.. so about 8 or 9 years away from poker, but i wouldn't call it a break cause i didn't know i would be back.
