Ok. I am a winning live 1-2 NL and 2-5 NL cash game player. I live about 45 mins from AC and I have been making the trip about every Friday and Saturday night for the past few months. Usually arrive at 10 and stay till 4ish when the games loose the spunk.

Friday night I sat for 7 hours(9-4am) and grabbed $340.
Last night I shouldn't have gone because I got like no sleep cuz I woke up early after Friday's session. Well, I went anyways because it was fight night and I knew the fish would be plenty. Well, I sat from 10pm-6am.... grabbed 410, and went on my way.

After the sessions I usually go back to my car and sleep in the backseat for a few hours before I roll home. Well, the red bulls got the best of my and I thought I was good last night.....

5 mins from my house.... fell asleep while slowly rolling up to the red light with 1 car there. His car was perfect he just got out, looked and said don't worry about it and left. His car was some big black SUV and my car is Infiniti G35, went under his back and looks like I need hood, bumper, radiator, grill, fan.

I am only 21 so insurance does not like claims with people my age!
Just a story for everyone to think about before they get in the car to drive home from long sessions. I have learned my lesson. I thank god that I did not injure myself but more importantly ANYONE ELSE. Completely bad judgment on my behalf, I should have taken the nap..... arrg!

oh man

I am really not the kind of person that thinks to much about stuff that has already happened but I can't stop thinking about how pathetic I am for not stopping before it happened. I knew I was getting tired. It could have been SO MUCH worse so I am really thankful for that but, at the same time, very
immature of me to not know better.
I could have really hurt someone and thats why I am so upset about it.
Thank god no one was hurt but omg I can't stop re enacting in my head when I hit and woke up in the same instant. It's really bugging me. Sorry to vent on here but hopefully the people who read this will remember it before they drive tired. Also just read online that it only take the avg person 20 minute nap to gain 1hr worth of attention for driving!

In my old blackjack days I played for 27 straight hours (losing about $175) and tried to drive home. When I started dozing off at the wheel I pulled off into a McDonalds drive-thru and guzzled down a supersize cola. It gave me enough of a jolt to get me home safely, but the smart thing to do would have been to pull off the road and have a nap.

If your winnings go toward car repairs call it an education expense. Not likely you'll ever do anything like that again.
