It was live game or live tournaments.

If you going to ship all your chips, raise but leaving 1 big blind is better
because

anyone wants to all in you, if you call.
he needs to showdown first, then you have the right to decide whether to show your winning hands or mucking the lost hands [by mucking hands ,definitely no other person know what you all in]

if that true?

Its true according to standard poker rules.

But he has also the option or right to request to see your mucking hand after the hand is finish.

For poker etiquette, its not good to request all the time in seeing your opponents hand especially if he lost that hand.

In MTT poker if two players go all in before the river both players must show their hands.

I would just say it's easier to GII other then doing the 1BB thing

It is possible for it to play out as you said.. But most likely, if you leave yourself with 1 BB, on the flop, turn, or river, 99% of the time, your opponent will put you all in... So you will end up having to show, unless you lose the hand, in which case you don't HAVE to show, but it will be irrelevant, as you will be bust. Not sure I'm big on your idea, as it's basically an "angle" on trying to not have to show.... But if you think about it, is not showing, and losing 99% of your stack worth it?? Basically to keep 1 BB?? You are aware you will then need to double/triple up, multiple times, to just get back into contention? I could be misunderstanding what you have written, but it just seems ass backwards to me.
