anything other than holdem

heya all just thoght i would ask if any 1 ever has any luck or a good win playing anything other than holdem thats if you only play holdem frequent and
like to have a dabble with another game myslef ive been playing alot of sng horse games i love every game in horse except razz never liked that game won about 100dollars just playing small sng"s other 2 days though that was ok myslef considering that i dont reli play anything else other than holdem but all the other games are easy to pick up i guess

I dont play holdem that much. I play mostly Omaha Ring games. Better money and the players are easier to beat. I say read up on some Omaha books and give it a try woody.

Omaha 8 or better seems to be the game of the future.

Not many players here know that omaha is my game of choice. i do well most of the time in cc freerolls and buyin events but my game of choice is always plo. I love the action specially on stars ring games. If u know ur odds ur almost always gonna make profit

my game of choice is 7 stud h/l but can't find a lot of action at the lower levels in ring. i will play tourny's on sites that offer it, but that is usually pretty hard to come by too. i do play omaha h/l ring on cake but there is more money to be made playing holdem.

Ive had really good results at stud h/l small buy-in tourneys,Just not enough of the lower buy-ins to keep busy with it.So Im studying Omaha now.

i would say that out of all the games except holdem omaha is a really good game i like omaha h/l much better than just omaha over the years i have played quite a bit its a really easy game to get the hang of but i woudent read any book i rather play how i want to play usaly works out for me lol cheers for the replies so far guys

I love em all. That's why HORSE is my Game of Choice. I feel like i've got a solid grasp on all of them and can transition my betting from game to game. Alot of players have trouble with the transitions so it's easy to make a good bit of money right after the games change especially early on. My favorite is hold em because of how readily i can find games, particullary live. I got big into razz about two years ago and that has got to be my number 2 game. It is so easy to read players on razz and know just how deep their fishing for another qualifying card especially when a big one hits them late in the board. The look of desparation (or relief) is tell tale that they hit or miss. I don't know what it is but on the razz tables people don't hide their emotions so well.
