Just have a feeling after recovery from bad cold

I think play poker in winter generally consume more energy and calories.
besides, winter poker is little lazier than other season -- generally means play a lot fit-or fold style.

and

body reaction, being slower, would think that hand moving/ clicking mouse with slower pace.

and what's more-- LOL

PS: my minds are not in poker tables now, as thanksgiving-- black friday on sale is coming ....LOL:D:D:D:D

Well, I think that getting less sunlight every day because of days being short can cause you to play worse.

I would hypothesize that people would play better in the winter. This is because a lot of people have more free time during this season. Therefore, they will play and think about poker more. During the summer there is less free time because of other activities and so play will become worse.

Just an idea.

Doubt many good players ever even see any sunlight.

online poker is quite seasonal with traffic picking up during the winter months. Being a Brit, I am cold all the time so it doesn't bother me in the slightest!

What's this "sun" you all speak of?

It used to be obvious that the OLP sites were fuller in the winter. Then OLP blew up and fragmented and it is no longer so clear.

At my local live casino's, I have not noticed any significant difference until it gets outrageously hot or relatively cold, when folks tend to not bother.

But then I live in SoCal and it is sort of difficult to tell which season it is.......
