last night when i was playing they had a massive disconnect problem for a minute or two. they actually had something about it in the chat window claiming it was due to 'internet routing problems' or something like that, but to their credit, they added time to everyone's clock to deal with the problem. it didn't last long, and while i didn't play tonight, if they're having a problem, i expect they'll fix it.

Well I got back on, seems like everyone else was still playing fine... My chips were, down... I won a big pot, and lost my connection yet again...

I even uninstalled the software, but now the site seems to be down so I can't redownload it...

I am gonna ask for my $5 back! ;)

hmmm... i was able to log on at stars and access their web site just now. Do you have internet connection problems otherwise? The do have good customer support, so if they are having a problem, it might be worth sending them an email. i don't know if you'd get your money back, but it couldn't hurt to let them know.

A thing to try with specifically pokerstars is to actually delete the folder from the harddrive, not just uninstalling the software. Uninstalling will remove the program, but it will leave a bunch of ini-files and stuff under C:\Program Files\PokerStars (or wherever you have it placed). Deleting the entire directory helped me when I had problems with Stars.

I have a internet connection that is working great otherwise. Still can't get onto the site.

poker stars does have great customer support. One time I had a problem with my actual ISP, my internet was down completely, and they actually gave me my $22 back... :)

Hopefully they'll do the same with the $5...

Did you try removing the folder? I had some pretty big problems with Stars before I tried that.

Well apparently i'm so talented at poker that I didn't even have to be there. I finshed 4th place in a 27 person tournament to claim $14! Hurray!

edit: it works this morning by the way :)
