Has anyone ever suggested playing a cards chat league???

Don`t know how it would fit together - could go something like the `poker superstars` format.

Everyone puts in an up front amount as a prize pool for the ultimate winner, 2nd, etc

Then each individual game is payed for as normal.

Thoughts???

There has been discussions on p ss format look in special events

I'm working on the final details for a compitition similar to Poker SuperStars. Mainly of when I'll be able to do it.

So it`s a question of watch this space???

More or less, I was planning on starting it in March but I dont know if I'll be around in March. I can share my ideas with anybody who would be interested in running it.

I might be going to tour Pitcairn Island during my girlfriends Spring Break. I have to work out a reliable babysitter for a couple of weeks because my son has a different spring break than my girlfriend.

Just wait and start it in April.

There was a CC league at Costa Del Poker last year. This thread:

gives the flavour and describes the scoring system etc. which was used.

Attendance was a little thin (in part because American members could not play), but it was a great competition and much enjoyed by those who took part.

If you start one in April, you can count me in!!!

I'd love to play in it if one gets going. Sounds like a lot of fun.

It would be fun to have an on-going league. We could have 3-4 month sessions with maybe some kind of annual championship. You could have weekly matches for points - similar to the team events. If you had teams of 4-5 players and only 1 or 2 needed to play each week the scheduling shouldn't be that hard.

I would be willing to work with somebody on setting it up if enough people are interested.

Only 1 catch. Tenbob goes on my team lol.
