Howard Lederer, Jennifer Harmon Gus Hansen, Phil Ivey, Chis Furgeson or any of the other Team Full Tilt.

Maybe you played against Annie Duke or Phil Hellmuth on Ultimate Bet.

Or even Chris Moneymaker or Daniel Negreanu on poker stars.

Post your experiences here.

Im guessing quite a few of us here have.

I'vw played against Kenny Tran and Steve wong on fulltilt micro stake tables, but this is my favourite experience. this was in an OFC a few months ago, lucky enough to sit on the same table as Annie Duke, who was very friendly to the whole table, telling jokes etc, I was proud of this bluff!:

I haven't played against any pros, but I did manage to knock out a betfair bounty in one of their Christmas tourneys, BF Rudolf, but I don't know if the player was a pro or some guy from the backroom staff.

Was sweet as he limped Aces into my BB with Q9, I hit the straight on the flop and he went all in leaving me with a big smile and an extra $200 in my account :)

Real pros don't really play at my level...one day though

Just finished playing a 100nl session where http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/hans-vogl was at half of my tables. At 100nl and 200nl, playing with FTP pros happens every day. Vitaly Lunkin used to be a regular opponent of mine until he won $1,891,018 in the $40,000 No Limit Hold'em 40th Anniversary event at wsop 2009.

Most of these lesser pros are actually regfishes who luckboxed a live tournament, scored a contract with FTP and now live of their 100% rakeback deal, imo.

Only recall the time I "sat" right next to Annie Duke. She played well and I agree was most pleasant at the table to everyone. She's a regular chatty personality. If anyone was "off color" in their remarks, she wasted no time in telling them to cut it out as well. I agree with Annie. There's no reason to be rude.

yeah a few.. umm ive played joe hachem on a $10 double or nothing, haha.. my biggest honor as i myself am australia..

hans vogl on tilt.. dont really know who he is, but his name was red.

some self proclaimed "pros" on pkrs high stakes.. ive played a bit of $5/$10 no limit vs them.. golfpro something, dont know who he actually is. but hes a pkr pro.. which doesnt really mean too much..

haha just read the post above.. hans vogl is always on those tables suisse.. he usually at least 8 tables i think.. i dont think hes very good though

umm jeff madsen, ive played in a 6.50 knockout tourney..

and the latest was cc's own dusty scmidt.. he was playing a heads up 1/2 table so i just had to join.. i probably shouldnt of, wasnt bankrolled for it at all. but wanted to play 50 hands against him just because.. lol.. and i didnt think hed be able to stack me without a fight.. result? thanks dusty.. he was probably pissed that i hit n run.. but i only wanted to stay there for 50 hands regardless of the result.

Online, I have played a lot of pros on Full Tilt. Mostly in tourneys. My favorite memory was playing Jim McManus in a sat, one winner, it got to HU and I won.

Live, I was in a tourney at Foxwoods a couple of years ago and for some reason, there were a ton of pros in it despite it not being a big buyin. I recognized a lot of faces without necessarily being able to put names to them, had definitely seen them on TV. I was fairly new to poker then and didn't really want such competition.. I'd lasted to the 3rd break and my table broke up, was moved to another table. I was setting down my chips when I peeked at my cards, liked them OK and said call.

Unfortunately, another player had already raised it up and I of course had to stay in. I said who? and at the other end of the table, with a massive stack of chips, Chris Ferguson grinned at me. (Yeah, recognized him.) Oops. (I learned a little something from that, let me tell you: know what the action is ahead of you!) I had outs but they didn't get there. Out before I even set up my chippies. Couldn't help but laugh.

Played Mike 'Timex' McDonald in a SCOOP event last year. Was kinda cool seen as he's probably one of the best online and live MTTers in the world

I use to play a ton of limit holdem with Vitaly but like belgo that was before he won the 40K. He is just really bad plays way too passively.

Played against quite a few on full tilt. Never really anything to talk much about.

Did however beat Chris Moneymaker in a 5.50 36man HU tournament. We were the final two heads up and he called my ak all in with ace ten and I got quads to win. That was kind of fun.

I have played twice on Full Tilt in the $24 90 man KO against a red pro's. Not names i'm familiar with though i'm afraid. Not sure whether the 'pros' on there are serious 'professional' circuit players or just long hours grinders on Full Tilt. Probably the latter.
When I played on Ladbrokes I played against a few semi-pro celebrities. Steve Davis and Ronnie o'sullivan (the snooker players) were on quite regularly. I knocked Steve Davis out of the last stage of qualification for the 2006 Poker Cruise (yet he still got on it....fame huh?!)
I'm sorry to say I've never final tabled the Sunday Brawl and beaten off a table full of pro's, but at my stakes thats as good as it gets! ;-)

This. Have some hands in some FTOPS/miniFTOPS events with them too. Seriously though I'd be happy to play the majority of the red pros HU for as long as they'd play me. Obviously not the ones that play nosebleeds or even the midstakes ones that are actually good but most of them are terrible. lol Steve Yea

On Full Tilt I have played against several of them allthough I have never been lucky enough to know one out in a tournment. I have doubed up through a few of them and left them crippled but never had the hands to knock them the rest of the way out. For the most part they play just like most other people.

I've played some of the cash tables at UB with Annie a couple times and Scott Ian a couple times but never had any big luck on either of them. There have been quite a few times that I have been at a table on Tilt in a big tournament where I was sitting with pros, but I can't for the life of me remember all of the ones I've sat with. I remember once chatting with Andy Bloch when he was at my table, other than that I can't remember. FullTilt has like 750 pros(exaggerating of course)

I was on the same table as Mike Caro in the $27 Bounty tournament at Doyle's Room once. It was a lot of fun because I started chatting with him and he was very willing to chat and answer questions. :)
