LOL. I was playing in a FT freeroll this morning after about 9 hours of poker. I started dozing off when I had about 8,000 chips, with about 1200 players left. Next thing I know it's an hour later and I'm still sitting at my computer. I look, and I've still got 1800 chips! So I start playing again. I went on a hot streak I have rarely seen, and in about 15 minutes I'm sitting in 22nd place with 48,000 chips. I wish this story had a better ending, but I pushed with K-10 suited and got knocked out by pocket sixes in 62nd place. So close, yet so far. Oh well.

Ive fallen asleep during one of the late night furgusons $1 HORSE tournies but I didnt wake up till the next day. I really like HORSE and during the summer I try to play that furguson as much as I can because its only $1 and if you do fall asleep your not losing that much money. Lol.

Yes - Once.

I woke up with a drool stain on my shirt and half my stack gone...guess I should have laid off the sauce. I still finished in the money.

Now I avoid this by turning my volume way up. My only concern - Drunk and Deaf is no way to go through life.

Nope. not yet. I play in FT from 8pm to 1-3am in the morning and I never get to fall asleep. hmmm. What can happen if that happens? If I'm not mistaken, if you Folded because you are asleep, every turn, they will deduct some chips in your chips. I'm not actually sure.

I used to play the $20 midnight freezeout on absolute every night at midnight and the one night when it was on the bubble I fell asleep. I woke up to see the message on my screen "You have finished tournament 492876942186 in 17th place" I think I minimum cashed, but I laughed and turned my computer off and went back to sleep.

On a side note, this one time I was playing a 5/10 NL game on bodog. I was playing for about an hour my stack was up to about 1500 (bought in with 1000) and I had JJ. (I remember this hand like it was yesterday, because it was so disturbing) I raised it up to a standard $50. I got 2 callers. Flop was 3 8 J rainbow. It goes check check and I bet out $80, I got one caller. Turn J gives me quads and the first to act checks and I check. River is a 9 and first to act checks, I bet $250 the other player raises ALLIN for $1200!!!!!!!!!! I literally stand up and scream as I hit the call button.....nothing happens?!?!?! I hit it again........nothing!!!!!!!! Then I get a message saying I have been disconnected! I frantically try to reconnect and my efforts don't matter, I don't reconnect in time. I do win the pot because of allin protection, but the pot was like $810 when it would have been like $3000. I am throwing a fit and I find out the reason why I was disconnected was because my sister accidentally turned the internet router off in the main computer room and shut the internet in our house down at the same exact time I tried to call the allin! I insisted she write me a check for $1000 but she refused. I was so pissed, but obviously I got over it.

I fell asleep at 7:50am in a PLO freeroll on FT some time ago.
As I fell asleep I was 6th with 158K chips - as I awoke I had placed 8th for 3$ if I recall corectly.
Falling asleep usually is -EV , but in this case I was sure I'd do something stupid - couldn't even focus on not hitting the keyboard with my face :D.
I posted it here: [old link~tb]

I havn't fallen asleep yet, but my as well have. After working all day and playing for about 8 hrs in a tourney I've made some stupid plays near the end. Oh look, two eights and two queens on the board and I have a eight.
Good Night.

I have never fallen asleep especially in a real money tournament. Although during some long free rolls i have been so tired i could not continue so i just repeatedly pushed all in (normal free roll play) lol only to keep doubling up with trash hands.

haha Yes

Tournaments can get so boring late at night, when you constantly keep folding. Especially when I bring a blanket over when I am cold. I have fallen asleep several times. Luckily I do not play too high limits. I too, have woken up and realized I was still in the tournament, many times it was too late though. Funny topic ;)

Lmao, sometimes it's the best thing that can happen to us. Fortunately i haven't dozed off yet, but that's probably because i haven't got to the point where i can get tired form being in a tourney too long :)

I passed out drunk right before a sit and go started and woke up to find out I placed 3rd without playing a single hand. I felt kinda bad cause I hate when people sit out but I had to laugh a little.

I've nodded off a few times. Thank God for that little "your bet" alarm waking me up.

Wow - what a coincidence - two people playing the same tourney, falling asleep and both finishing in the money tied 17th ?????

Do you really think we don't see you spamming ?????
