I've seen all the ones up to date, I was just wondering if there are any new ones supposed to be coming out this year. Any one know?

IMDB shows the following for Nicholas Cage:

Link no longer available

So maybe that will be out later this year or early 2010.

If they make a poker movie as good as Lucky You, then I hope they don't make one at all...

Heh, I heard that The Grand wasn't very good.

Yeah, it's not really funny, sometimes you'll smile but it's far from a good comedy. It's about poker so I like it anyway:D:D

I wish they would make a movie based on The Professor, The Banker, & The Suicide King. Anyone think that would work?

I mean is there anyway for him to stop it? Is that possible? The reason I brought the idea forward is because I'm tampering with the idea of trying to write a script for it. I loved the book and always thought it would make an excellent movie if done right.

A while back I head about this poker movie called The Big Biazarro that was supposed to star Pierce Brosnan. But I checked his Wiki and IMDB page today and didn't see anything (because I forgot what the movie was called). I googled Pierce Brosnan poker movie and this link came up http://www.pokerlistings.com/pierce-brosnan-to-star-in-latest-highstakes-poker-film. Then once I found the title again I put it into IMDB. The info for the movie is only viewable for IMDBPro members, whatever that is, so that wasn't any help. But based off more googling and a lack of much recent information, I'd say the movie's probably been scrapped or severly delayed. It's based on a book of the same title, if anyone is interested or has read it.

funny as in poker terms, come on the quote "i can't believe i'm in a pot with tex brunson" was hilirous. their was no script for the movie the director had an outline and the actors just went from that.
