When I was little started off playing limit poker and liked it in
the beginning but disliked it in the end(in retrospect probably
played to tight) and felt good enough to move on to big boy NL.
Played a home limit game the other night any really enjoyed it - less
stressful, more hands, still hated being drawn out but still did my share.
Any dislike limit and still hate it , or hate it and came back to it.
I still prefer NL.

Limit poker sucks IMO i can stand for pot limit omaha, but are fixed limit games are the worst. i guess i just need to learn how to play them better, but they are so boring, and i dont like not having total control of my chips

I played limit poker for years before moving to NL just due to the scarcity of limit games. The two games are very different, but tbh, I still prefer limit and would still be playing that as my main game if it hadn't pretty-much disappeared due to the increased interest in NL.

Now days it seems you have to look and look to find one crappy limit game (live), while walking past many, many juicy NL ones. So I jumped to NL a while back and really can't even recall the last time I played in a live limit game. It's been quite awhile.......

Love LIMIT POKER....

Hate limit HOLDEM....

LHE is one of the dumbest most mechanical games around...with the possible exception of HU. Basically its so hard to make a hand in HE that you just take odds and always call down if you hit most anything.

Love the game

Yes it is hard to find games on line and in some areas for live games . It is a game of skill and if you dont have your reading up to par for limit it can be very difficult . It takes away the all mighty all in move and makes players play handicaped ( what most players say about limit ). but you have to put a few things together to be competitive and successful .

for me it gave the skills I was able to bring over to no limit and can play with more confidence in no limit now with all the understanding that limit gave me when I was playing .
