Anyone play any HORSE? I've been messing around with it as of late, just to take a break from Hold'em. I haven't really played some of these games in a long time. It's been fun changing games every 10 hands or so, but sometimes I forget what game we are on.:p

Same here, sometimes I dont notice razz changed to stud :p but for the most part I think Im pretty good in HORSE but could def. improve because I play alot of hands and build my stack during Holdem, Omaha, and Razz, then in stud, which im weaker in, I only play great hands.

I love playing horse in ring games.
I do not playing it in mtt's.
It is a really fun game that keeps you on your toes.
Although I am really not a stud fan nemore,I usually play ha,which is also a fun game.

I'll play when the game is soft, but my Razz & LHE needs work.

I actually prefer playing 8 game to playing HORSE because of the NLHE and PLO.

I can't handle HORSE... I'm good at NLHE and can hold my own in omaha but razz and stud I totally suck at... and limit holdem makes me wanna scream.

With HORSE you need to stay alert. Make sure you don't think you're still playing razz when the game switches to stud or something like that. I don't play it as much as I did a year ago or so, because my hold em game has progressed to a point where it just makes sense for me to play hold em, but HORSE is a great game. If you can get good at razz specifically, you could have a ton of luck in HORSE, because razz is generally the weakest game of the competition.

I love HORSE freerolls; especially at the beginning of the tournament if you are at a table where most of the players only know Holdem ~ so it's easy to build a chip stack once that's passed by.

It's also so funny when it comes around to Razz and (almost always) a player will ask how the game is played in the chat box.

I actually didn't know what HORSE was until about 2 months ago..hehe..lol
, but when i found out it was alot of differrent games in one, i thought that would be kind of fun so i tried a ftp freeroll and i actually did kind of good, but not itm, but like many others i still don't know how to play razz,( i don't even know anything about razz) so i fold everytime it's time for razz. but i still prefer NLH and omaha h/l.

I love HORSE, but you really have to be on your toes. I also need to be real careful with limit Hold'em, since most players are HE players and bet the heck outta that component.

Do people actually play horse ring games? It seems that you should just sit out/change tables when it gets to your worse games.

On the other hand, I love tournament HORSE because although I am not amazing at the other games, I can beat the average HORSE crowd, especially in razz.

I posted this a few months ago. You might be interested in the discussion... https://www.cardschat.com/forum/general-poker-13/sniping-mixed-ring-games-good-way-143680/
Hey Lizzy, I'm in a HORSE freeroll right now at poker stars. The part I hate the worst is limit Holdem. People raise like it's NL, they don't get it. Yeah, and when they switch from Razz to Stud, you can get burned if you're not paying attention especially if you're not the bring-in. Same for Stud to Stud HL. Only difference is that the bring-in turns to low card for HL.

I love horse! I think it truely tests poker players to be their best as you have to play a lot of games and play them well. Also you have to be able to switch fluidly between games. :)
