Well its under an hour till it stars and its bad bankroll management, but im thinking of having a punt.

Any thoughts on this tourney, how it plays and how it should be played would be most welcome.

Speaking from experience, I would not overspend on a tournament like this. Everytime I've used poor b-roll management (especially on pstars) for big MTT's like that, you are just asking for trouble. You don't play your same game and you make more mistakes then you typically would otherwise. You may not think you're doing it but it's kind of a subconscious thing, especially since your goal is going to be the crack the money for the most part as opposed to trying to win it. Not saying the same thing will happen for you but I would take a pass on that one unless you are rocking a decent bankroll.

Don't try it if you're significantly underrolled. The variance in a huge field like this + 10 minute levels is extreme. I played it a few times, doesn't start on a good hour in my timezone, but I can tell you there's obviously an incredible amount of bad players, so if you decide to play it don't start playing too fancy, it won't work. Oh, and get ready for the shove fest after the first break... GL

There are good satellites to it Mr McCluskey, too late this week obv. I think i've seen Aloevera describe the play, I'll search for it...I didn't find it, did see it described as a glorified freeroll, and a few posts about how easy the 2.20 MTTs are.

Thats ok guys im going to give it a miss. How can I be a member of a great site like this and not take notice of all the great advice and or just disregard it. Bankroll management is more important I will find a tourney more suited to my cash.

Thanks again.

I'm in it but only because I got in through a $2 tourney. Not worth the $11 it costs. But I hope I do well.

Probably a smart move man, with a field that deep you have absolutely no idea what could happen and how easy it is to go busto early into the tourney. GL with the tournaments you do end up playing today.
