Is it just my imagination or can you same money around "bubble time" in FTP Rush games by slowing down your play thus not paying as many antes as someone who folds as quick as possible just to see another hand?:) :shakehand

According the to the Full Tilt FAQ on Rush Poker, you should not be able to save money by slowing down your play around "bubble time":

"You’ll post the big blind upon joining a Rush Poker* game. After that, the big blind is assigned to the player who has gone the most hands without posting it. If there is a tie for who has gone the longest without posting, the big blind will be chosen randomly among the tied players. All other seating positions, including the small blind, are completely random from hand to hand."

You can wait till the time runs out and you stay on the table to watch the action.
This way you stall the game, are not forwarded to the next table and save some time till the next Ante.

I did that and I saved a lot Antes, after I was in the money I stopped stalling and made it to 90th place...

All depends on your chips...
I have more chips I would played different !

It is a good way to do, but how would you like it if somebody kept stalling on you. But it is still a wat to play the game . So good luck and keep winning

That makes no sense.

He's talking about ANTES.

And the answer is yes.

When the antes get huge toward the end of Rush MTTs it does seem correct to stall so that you will not pay too many antes. However, Im not so much trying to save antes as I am trying to 3 bet and four bet to make chips as the antes increase.

If you want some good advice about Rush MTTs I think King Curtis is the one to ask! He could share with you his winning strategy as the antes become larger.

this imo

I have never stalled because really at this point I am not slowing down and playing less hands. I am playing more hands and out playing others trying to build a stack slowly and steadily from others passiveness.

Another thing to think about is that when I play, I play for 1st, not just to make the money.

i know that i take longer to make decisions when i am close to the money and a shortstack. I think that it definitely helps, less hands played means less antes payed and less chips i have to put into the pot.
