casinos.

I'm actually more comfortable playing in a casino than I am online. Bigger fish, fewer hands, drinks (and sometimes food), and better reads on your opponents. Only problem is you can't play any $0.02/0.05 games.

Have you found an alternative to online poker since the US government prohibited online gambling?
Mate, the US Government has NOT prohibited on-line gambling. But, there are all kinds of constructive alternatives to on-line poker:
Sex, Reading, Hiking, Biking, Running, Writing, Chess, meditation, yoga, etc. I'm sure you can think of a few too.

nah that's not good for me....lol......i never put "MY" money into playing online and for 8 years any "MY" money I've played in poker has been live games at a casino. I haven't trusted that the money i make on sites will actually be given to me if I ask for it.
I know u will all tell me of your withdraws. Then I think of my money on Tropical and my money on Jungle and my money on Jet and my money on Tony G and my money on Purple and my money on Bugsy's (now wait that was transfered to pokerstars), so even before Black Friday my level of trust that my online money would ever be mine was in limbo. Never took it seriously. Things would have to change big time for me to believe in it.
so I am just playing where ever this american can play and making whatever bankroll I can to play money games there just like I did since forever.

I've been at your table in "real money" games and you are quite good. A patient solid player. That's why I hate to be the one to break this to you. In order to withdraw from most sites you have to make a deposit first and play through it. Any money won in freerolls you will not be able to cash out with out making a deposit first.

Mate, the US Government has NOT prohibited on-line gambling.

Restrictions are on "depositing and withdrawing" as each of these will require the use of some type of banking/financial institution and therein lies the illegality of playing on-line. It is not illegal for USA players to play on-line poker.

But, there are all kinds of constructive alternatives to on-line poker:
Sex, Reading, Hiking, Biking, Running, Writing, Chess, meditation, yoga, etc. I'm sure you can think of a few too.
