I'm sure I'm not the only one who attempted to chat during an all in. I would just like to know how people feel about this rule on the online poker rooms.

It is necessary rule. Yes, i would like to speak during all-in hand sometimes, but it is the right rule for its imposibility.

I don't chat at all, even a single word. I have the info tab on and also disabled the chat bubbles. Simply I don't care what the others write. I used to chat but I found it highly distracting in my game. If I write something it would be something like ''nice play'' or something kind for a player. In general something which has made me a good impression or if someone ,maybe has outplayed me.. Kudos to him!! So don't bother people with the chat, It will be harmful to your game.

i Think disabling the chat on an all in is fine, because if it wasnt disabled people would be able to influence other players by making comments and such like. However i believe that the chat should be allowed for the all-in player and the one player left who is deciding to call or not. With it only being these two players who would be allowed to chat the all-in player would be able to try to smack talk to try to induce a call, but only when its two players remaining, but the other players wont be able to call. But in my opinion not having it period is just fine, not really necessary for players to chatting when someone is all in to induce other players decisions

I don't mind I was playing about 2 days ago and there were 3 Brazilians round my table and it was getting towards the end of the tournament the table was shorthanded and they were talking in their own language. I can speak a little basic Spanish which is similar to their language and I really did get the impression they were discussing tactics /hands. It was only 25 cent 45 man sng though but it should not be part of the game

Yes they do disable it because someone would be frustrated for example for him to all in all the time , and if there are 2 guys from the same country/language they might talk

I think correct, even the chat is now getting off when it's near the bubble, at least on satellites I realized that.

I don't understand, never heard solid reasoning for why chat us allowed but not when someone is all in. When playing live the dealer doesn't tell you to be quiet when someone is all in.

Disabling is definitely a good thing. No need to allow others to gain or share information with someone all in.

I agree. If it's only heads up. Someone outside the hand might be a jerk and say "I folded that card, I don't think he's got it" or something of that nature.

I'm not very interested in the topic of Chat, I never enter into dialogue with anyone, only sometimes if is possible with people from my country.
In general most people use chat to insult :(

One of the reasons many of us came to CC originally & have stayed here, most chat around our games and on the forum. is friendly & interesting, occasionally even helpful.

I am not very interested about chatting cause most people use chat to insult or to share some unclear informations about their mood and/or to show strange kind of humor

I think it is necessary to disable chat after an allin , not only is it distracting , but it might influence one or more later decisions by other players .

I agree, this forum has been very useful, it can be said that is an additional way to give handling to some problems related to the game.

Apart from that, the people are very helpful and friendly.

I'm cool with that. for me the game is more important than the chat. chat is enabled or disabled I don't care

it´s fine to me too!

because who goes all in, could be harmed if another player send information about his cards.

I think I like this! I do not see many reasons to enable speeches at this time, except for teasing, so I know it ... I think it's OK;

Imo they should disable chat for anyone not in the hand anymore, regarless of an AI or not......aka fold and at least be forced to shut up until the hand is over.

More often than not the chat feature is abused anyway, better just to ignore it in my opinion.
