Aggression in poker is based on the nature of man. Aggressive man is also aggressive in poker, or aggression can be learned?

If you are not naturally aggressive you can learn it. But it does take a lot of practice. The thing about learning to be aggressive, is don't fall into the trap of thinking that because you are aggressive you will win every hand. Be prepared to lose hands.

It can be taught. For example, learning to raise pre-flop against tight players when in position.

Aggression in poker comes to a lot of players naturally but I feel those who adapt to make aggressive plays will be more profitable long term, a lot of aggressive players will be too aggressive at the wrong spots.

Aggressive poker can certainly be learned. I was a super nit when I first started playing, but now I am a very loose aggressive cash game player. I am still a pretty nit tournament player though.

You don't have to be an aggressive person to enjoy playing aggressive poker!

It can be learned

Aggressive Playing Style can be learned, with a lot of practice though. If you want to be aggressive, be prepared to lose many more hands in cash and tournaments if you are trying to learn this style. Aggressive play is best done by naturally aggressive players for they are used to it and it is a part of their game. Trying to adapt other game styles to your own, can be quite difficult, but not impossible, but can be a long road before you see any benefits to this.

Aggression in poker is important but not crucial. Being patient is the key for me.

In my humble opinion, if you have a proper bankroll, u have no choice but to be aggressive IF you want to crush the game otherwise you will simply be at best, a super-small winner or break even player. If you have no bankroll, you will almost never be aggressive enough in the right spots or, you will be too aggressive in the wrong spots. moral?? Have a bankroll and you will learn how to be effectively aggressive.

It is based on persons nature. however there is a big difference between real life poker aggression and online poker aggression. Online gameplay is quite safe for the people, so being aggressive is easy and necessary. During real life game some people just can't use aggression or intimidation and become victims of their nature. According to psychology and my experience i believe that extroverts are far more aggressive than introverts ofc if their experience in poker is on the same level. Just observe newbs at the real poker table. Introverts will most likely play call\limp, extroverts will be raising much often and ofc you can expect them starting to push all in much more often after the first bad beat.

Aggression is not learned through studying, but through experience.

You can read all about why and when to be aggressive, but it's much different when you're in that situation.

With that said, aggression in poker is always good. Even when it doesn't work.

i used to play poker semi-aggressively with a lot of long ball when the odds favored it. i knew i'm up against a rat-donk or when the mood would just strike me, but now i find i'm playing VERY tight and passive because bad beats seem to be the norm, especially when it's KO time.

Yeah I agree. It can be a learnt skill (and is probably better this way) than aggresive from nature.

I think the aggressive play of method or liability can be learned as a technique in poker, but I think that everyone already has an initial type of game mode, some already are agresivo by nature and other liabilities.

I am not naturally agressive but have learned in life, as in poker, that contolled agression in the right circumstances can produce results, especially if the others are not expecting it.

They then pull back and realise that I have something and accordingly do not respond too drastically.
