How much does age become a factor in Poker? When we are young our minds are sharp, our memory is better, but, we tend to be more impatient and lack the experience. As we age, we gain experience, we learn from our mistakes, we might become more patient. As we approach our senior years our minds may not be as sharp as when we were young. Do you find your game has become better or worse as you've gotten older?

Among the great players of poker, there is a very common characteristic. Most have college degrees, or are taking the course; Many have even postgraduate degrees.

That is why I strongly emphasize that the priority of children under 18 should not be to play poker, but to complete their studies. In addition, a person can even ruin his future in poker, as a small disappointment at this age may be enough for him to give up - younger people tend to have little tolerance for failures. So if you are under 18: Rethink your priorities. Give time to time, go to school, and then try to play the fascinating game of poker.

I think age does not always affect the image of the game. Rather, the time that you took some game. Teenager playing for example 5 years of poker will be head and shoulders above the experience. The middle-aged man playing poker a year. It all depends on experience.

In my experience age is not a factor in poker. It can be if some of the younger players are a little inpatient, but not all are. I play live at least once a week. I have met both young and old players that played very good poker. If you play the game and don't think you can bluff the hands you don't win, who knows you just may do well. I have found with all the people playing that try to bluff every other hand it has made bluffing just that much harder. If you play good poker you will be fine.:D:D

As long as you continue to learn the game you will get better with time. Contrary to popular belief getting older does not always mean your minds gets soft.

The relationship between Age and poker is not linear; your skills will improve up to a certain age when it will start to decline. Is more of an exponential relation.

Of course a very good player as Doyle brunson in his declining curve will be a lot better than normal players at their peak performance; but as far as Age and Poker: that is the way it is! :deal:

Age doesn't matter, I don't think. Young and old win pots.

I'm 70 years old. I think I've improved from when I started playing online 12 years old. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer for sure. But learning odds and making the same mistake over and over helps some LOL,

It helps to be not too young to be too aggresive and not too old to be way too tight. Never get shoehorned into either if you can. I play differently, usually more aggressive, if its an older average age at the table.

I feel like the older you are the more tight of a player you are going to be

I think age does not matter in poker !!! in poker everything depends on the player himself or rather the style of the game !!! generally believed that older players are more patient but there are young igrakov with good patience)))

Annette Obrestad vs Doyle Brunson
I don't think age makes much difference.

I think younger players seem to be more aggressive some do not seem to have respect for money (not had to scrape for it), older players must have gained experience over the years look no further than Doyle Brunson he has got to be a great ambassador for age in poker

In how many years we did not start playing poker, we always keep impatient. It does not depend on age. Only with time when delve into the game you begin to understand how to do in the following situation. Experience and patience - the main criteria in poker. Age is not an obstacle here to see prices.
