A runner's high and a poker high are not even close to the same feeling.

For me, poker is just a card game.

I don't think so, poker game for strong nerves! If you need adrenaline go play slot machine! Your bankroll will end in one hand and you will not have time to get your adrenaline.

I don't think so because poker doesn't offer the satisfaction enough. It comes and goes but you have to sit there and play it. Adrenaline junkies can go get their fix instantly. Poker does not allow that.

Just once I felt adrenaline playing poker. it was when I first got acquainted with poker and got a ticket to the tournament with prize money. I do not remember exactly how many participants were in it, but very little is accurate. This time I got a little from the prize. After that, I never felt adrenaline playing poker.

For me it's just a game that gives you the opportunity to earn money. Sometimes it's so annoying that you want to quit playing and forget about poker. Very much he can be boring.

Its kind of hard to compare the feeling of skydiving, rock climbing, Motorcross, ect. to sitting at a table for hours waiting for a moment your heart starts racing cause you flopped the nuts, and actually have callers after a check raise...

Its 2 completely different things.

Poker is mostly a boring game and there is little adrenaline in it, and in my opinion it's unnecessary to compare it with adrenaline in the sport.

I do not think. The poker is 80% boring when we talk about a tournament, only at the very end of the final table can talk about adrenaline. Cash game and sit & go tables are more exciting, but Spin & Go is the most intense, here i think there are more adrenaline addicts.

I would say no. No - can not replace, although there is no doubt when playing poker adrenaline is released, and in some cases, a large portion of it. But I almost imagine how much adrenaline is allocated, if you are a participant in extreme sports. In general, the easiest way to find out this moment is to try to play and on personal experience determine whether or not to replace you poker with extreme sports, by the amount of adrenaline allocated.

The adrenaline rush is present in our life everywhere and constantly ..)))
But for a good poker game ... you need to remove adrenaline from the blood and turn on a sober mind and composure ..))

Basically, poker is a game of patience and discipline.
How much adrenaline is allocated ?
Sometimes it's a lot, sometimes it's not enough. There are different situations in poker.

In live poker you can get a decent rush out of it - online I can't really match it. But this is coming from somebody that jumps out of planes for entertainment every month or so, so yeah. It's hard for me to get a rush.

With big bluffs or big sweat pots in live MTT's your heartrate can get up there and the endorphins released when you rake in those chips after the win is pretty good man. It's not on the same level as something really extreme, but there is a rush to be found.

[FONT=roboto, sans-serif]Adrenaline prevents you from making the right decisions and pushes into tilt.
Tilt is a suboptimal state leading to the adoption of wrong decisions, which, in turn, entail a worsening of the game and a loss of money.

I do not think it replaces excitement in other sports, but it's very exciting to see if one's strategy is against other opponents. Then it's going to be lucky, but I think good players have more luck than others.

No offense - however, I don't think that's true at all. If you don't get excitement from the game itself then why play it at all? People react differently to adrenaline and blanketing everybody into the negative effects of it isn't accurate.

Personally, adrenaline increases my awareness and helps me focus - it doesn't dull my senses, it hones them.

Not intending to be confrontational but saying such things is objectively incorrect.
