I'm adding a new rule to my bankroll management. DO NOT click on the black jack tab!

LOL I was waiting on a tournament and got bored and clicked the flashy black jack button at the top of my screen. I'd just try it out and not put a lot into it I tell myself.

First few minutes I've magically doubled my bankroll..it was small to begin with as I just run freerolls and low stakes tournies. Alright I'm doing great I tell myself.

Well fast forward to this point in time. I'm back to the running freerolls to get a bankroll just to play in low stakes tournies. Thank you black jack!

I know it was my stupidity that caused this but I just needed to vent and make fun of myself a bit.

That sounds silly. I don't trust that online blackjack stuff tho, it is probably set up to make you lose.

Blackjack if played correctly is 51/49 game. That's why some people think a proper approach to the game is to just double your bet each time you lose a hand.

LOL Do the math if your bank roll is $100
$1, $2, $4, $8, $16, $32, $64
That's just 7 hands and you already do not have enough to double your bet. I have played $1 a hand and many times had losing streaks that went longer than 7 hands.
Good luck

Yeah I hadn't studied much on blackjack. I thought I had a decent grasp of it though. What's funny is doubling the bet is exactly what I thought was a good strategy.

Thank goodness I still have my Bovada bankroll intact. I also learned a nice lesson lol.

Its good to get this out there and admit it. Definitely resist the temptation to click that blackjack tab. Overall it will make your poker game worse and your gambling mentality bad for the game. Good luck avoiding it!
