I'm sure I'm not the only one this has happened to. It's ******* ridiculous. I'll be playing a couple tables and due to my crappy pc, it's not really practical to have them side by side, so they'll just pop up when it's my turn. I'll have a crappy hand on one table, go to fold and then my nut flush at another table will come up and I'll accidently fold that (Just happened ten minutes ago).

I swear there is no worse feeling than accidentally folding a great hand because pokerstars can't have an option to just blink and not popup like every other site I know of. Maybe you can turn it off and I don't know how, but whatever, that's not the point, I just had to get this out.

lol, I was interrupted by a table popping up at least ten times while typing this.

Also, my monitor is stronger than my fist. It currently sits at 4-0.

I've done this in the past (Folded something that I really didn't want to).

What I've done was to make sure that my tables are tiled in a fashon I don't have the buttons on top of each other and the other bigger thing... I stopped goofing off (looking at the internet) while playing. :)

p.s. you must have an old CRT monitor like myself... they take a punch and keep going. lol

It sucks but I'm sure it has happened to most of us at one time or another. I now always tile my tables so I'm glad to say it hasn't happened in a long time.
No more KK in the muck preflop :D

Well, I'm slightly obsessive compulsive. Tiling the windows would take me a couple of minutes to get them even and looking nice and I usually don't feel like doing that. It would annoy me too much to have one smaller than the other and then if I do get them good enough, everytime one pops up, I'd have to click the opposite one etc etc. I don't know exactly what problems I'd have until I get to them, but I have tried tiling them before and that's the reason I don't usually do it now. It takes too long.

I know that that sounds like a pretty dumb reason, but I can't help it, that's just how it is. And I probably will do it again at some point or another, but that's my reason for not having them tiled this time. I didn't feel like bothering with it.

Oh and yeah, my monitor is an envision eft. Hurts my hand, but not my wallet. I can deal with that. My damn mouse doesn't give a damn about my financial situations though, always making me buy a new one.

It's happened to me. I play on Full Tilt, 3/4 tables. I turned off the option that displays the table on action, that way I can focus on the table where I have the biggest hand. The only caveat is if you don't pay attention to the other tables you'll get auto-folded so you really need to be alert. IMO that risk outweighs folding KK instead of K3 or being on the River in a big pot only to have a table pop up with 74o that needs your attention.

LOL!!

I was just playing a freeroll at carbon poker and I had AJ, flop came AJJ so I had the nuts on the flop. Somehow it folded my hand automatically. I was waiting for my turn to play and I was going to check it---it never gave me an option. Just folded my hand. No time lag or disconnect. Once again, another reason why I will not play with my own money online. If this had been a big event I would have been smoking mad---just not worth it. online poker---- where the gayness never ends. KEEP IT FREE!!! Then laugh at the gayness!:D

Actually AA would have been the nuts with the flop AJJ. If I hit AJ with a AJJ flop, that's close enough to the nuts for me in any game to say I will not be folding that hand.

Oh and actually the nuts on this hand would be pocket jacks not aces

On the flip side, one time i was working and my site's default when you hit enter is call... late in a tourney, bb at 1k, i make an accidental call with 79o in mid position due to multitasking. Flop comes, 99K, he bets, i raise, he calls, turns comes, 7 he raises all in, and I call with the fh... doubled up and all with luck. So yeah, sometimes it can be to your benefit. :)

Happens to everyday! I folded aces preflop yesterday and today 3bet shoved 92o.

FYI- I won with 92o thanks to running deuces on the turn and the river lol (had to face a lot of trash talkin' afterwards).

skew the tables so when they pop up the buttons are not right on top of each other.

That's odd. I mean, one doesn't pop up over the other until you have ACTED on the one thats popped up first, no idea how you accidently folded it. I notice you are not the only one this has happened too, I just don't understand it. I could never play Multiple tables if they just popped up over one another as this would be so frustrating.

It wasn't my turn yet, I was about to check the check/fold box and that's when the other table popped up. I don't remember exactly, but that's probably how it's always happened.

Get table ninja and all your problems will be solved

I am relatively new to the online poker scene. I just watched the Table Ninja you-tube video and it looks awesome. Appears that there is a lot of functionality. Does anyone here use this and find this helpful?

Thanks.

Ahh, I see now. I've never really done that multi-tabling. Besides which clicking the check/fold box to early could be a mistake if you can limp or odds worthy of a call.

Pre-flop I've both folded AA and called all-in with 72s. I lost both.

Erm, how is some going to have Jacks on an AJJ board when the guy had AJ?

Anyway, anyone ever find they do it in Rush? You're clicking Quick Fold so often, your cursor is just over it and you just click automatically sometimes. I've done it a few times. Usually when it's a small pocket, I see a 7, think oh that's no good, go to fold before I see the other 7.

True, though when you're holding AJ, it's pretty hard for your opponent to have pocket Js. ;)

So AA is still the nuts if you're holding AJ on an AJJ flop.

You missed what i was saying, and what sherbet was saying....with a board of AJJ, the nuts would be JJ. Sherbert thought he had the nuts by holding AJ, but that is actually 3rd nuts. So my original statement stands JJ on a board that flops AJJ is the nuts.

When you tile them they all go to the exact same size (or, you can set up your tables 'manage tables' to have them arranged however you want.... ie. I'll set it up so I can have 3 across the bottom of my screen for one site, 3 across the top for another (and a ton of other arrangements, depending upon how many table (& what ones they are) I'm playing on).

Also, you can change the option of having your table pop up when it's your turn to act. Write to support for details.

Yah.. you should stick to 'FREE'... cuz soon you'd have nothing left to play with anyways.

Some more excellent advice coming from someone with obviously alot of experience. My bet... you'd play 'real' money if your mom gave you an allowance & deposited it for you.
