Just a curiosity.
Yesterday I draw AA x AA twice in just over 20mim.
They were two different tables. I raise 3BB and my opponent reraise to all in.
The emotion was very great, but after showing the cards, the sadness by the draw almost certainly hit me hard.

Better than losing when you both had pocket queens.

Happened to me once, the other chap hit a flush.

Ouch

What really sucks is when you are all-in with AA against AA and 4 of a suit lands on the board, and you don't have it. Be glad when you get the split.

What really sucks is when someone goes all in over your re-raise preflop with AK when you have AA and they flop Broadway :(

Nothing wrong with a split.
Nullified hand. (like it never happened)
No Gains
No Losses
Better that then getting flushed out.

I feel the pain.
The game will test you at the worst times.

Good luck

Worse than losing to a worse hand. I remember going all in with KK preflop, only to see the opponent holding JJ. I smile to myself, knowing I should win. You should have seen my face go from smile to sorrow when it flopped J8J. I actually held hope to see two kings come that time :( It was a tournament too. Maybe another 10 people till the bubble.

Amen to that. I swear it's worse than any bad beat. Suddenly I'm being all religious and dunno why.

I have an odd tendency to pat myself on the back when I can fold what's normally a premium hand pre-flop, and it turns out to be a good laydown. It's usually when I'd get squeezed or when everyone's in a raising frenzy. Even though I know with the raising frenzy I'd be getting correct pot odds to call, I'll at the very least consider folding a premium hand.

It's probably dumb, but I figure that with all that raising there are some big pairs and connectors. I figure that the premium hands are cancelling each other out. God help me I can't fold aces, I think about it, but just can't do it. Probably looks like a slow roll, but I really do consider folding them. I'm that dopey, and it does go back to losing AA to AA way back. At any rate, I'm surprised by how often folding what should be a great hand works out for the better.

Nuttier still is that with a raising frenzy I'm more likely to call with middle to small suited connectors and pairs, figuring they're more likely to be live.

I got issues man. I got issues.

Anyway, that sort of thing can sort of explain how sometimes a marginal to weak hand is actually strong.

As for the K7s/Q2s question. There are too many possibilities for why they'd call. Not the least of which is that you could be dealing with absolute beginners who frequently love any and all paint. I do have to guess that they don't always win with that junk, and you're having the same selective memory issues I can be accused of having from time to time.

why is it on ub you have some one call with like k2 or q7 just cause there suited and crack aces on flop with 2 pair after a good pre flop raise too dont understand

You are so right about UB. I play on 5 different sites (mostly freerolls until I build up a BR) and UB is the only place I can not cash. The calls some people make are so insane that they usually have me either talking to myself or just staring at the screen speechless shaking my head.

Happened to me in a live game at the Wynn about a month ago... We just chopped the pot without seeing a flop because neither of us wanted to get 4-flushed.

This has happened to me several times, but I've been on the winning side before too. Not neccesarily with the Queens but with the faces. Never happened in a house game though but Im sure thats coming.

I've seen this happen b2b before, then the hand after b2b aces was aces vs kings. And what happens? Aces hit quads on the flop. That is definitely the most cold decked set of hands I've seen.

My friend has had AA vs. AA 3 times in the past 3 months, chopped once but lost twice to flushes. No joke, it's so sick. Only on full tilt poker, lolol

It happens. I'd rather chop the pot than get my AA cracked. Don't get too greedy. Keep getting your money in good and you'll come out on top in the long run.
