Kind of a derogatory term for someone who is ultra tight. I consider opponents with a VPIP < 10 at FR to be nits. Basically you just steal from them and give up without the absolute nuts if they play back at you.

Do u know any threads with decent stats about LAGs/TAG/NITS with HEM. I jus bought it a few days ago but ive been too busy to fully use/understand it.
Nit(s) is an effecient term to use in your poker notes at online sites, especially sites like Absolute Poker and Ultimate Bet that don't provide much space for notes.
