Thanks so much, Bill! I really enjoy reading anything I can get my hands on about the Mayfair Club and somehow had missed this one.

For those not familiar with the club, the final paragraph in this article pretty much says it all:

"The Mayfair inspired Rounders, it gave Stu Ungar his start and it produced some of poker's biggest stars. More than that though, it provided a blueprint for success in poker through co-operation in the pooling of resources. Each of the pros who got their start there recognizes that their sums exceed the part they brought to the table. It's that truth that made it a part of poker history."

I enjoy many of Gary Wise's column on poker. Good writer with a good insight and knowledge of poker.
Lark, been to Hollywood lately? Wanted to make it down this past weekend but didn't work out..... lost money here in Columbus instead. LOL

<Talking on the side to CSuave> No, haven't been to the Hollywood yet this year; really swamped at home here still. I'm really hoping to get there in April to at least see some of the WPT action and hopefully benefit from some of the cash games. :)

Now back to the OP...
