Yesterday I went to a bar vs. bar challenge for the local poker league. The point for these competitions is that bar that has the winning player gets to challenge the bar of his or her choice along with a bunch of prizes. As far as I know I was the only guy that showed up for my bar. There are usually at least 30-40 players on each side, so I don't know what happened to everybody...I guess they were still all hung over from the tourneys we had the night before.
I am the dealer with K-T suited and the flop gives me two pair, and there are two players left- The guy in the middle position who goes all in with a club flush draw, and the girl in the SB has KQ. After the turn I bet 3K which is 15X the BB, and the SB calls to go all in.
I told everybody that they have to show their cards, because everybody is all in.They were hesitating, and when I looked down there was the Qc on the table which gave the guy in the middle a flush and the girl in the SB kings & queens. They were also pretty quick about mucking the cards as soon as I realized that I had been beaten.
The girl to the right of me in the button position had pulled the river card while I was watching for everybody to show me their cards. I never even saw her burn a card, before that river card came up. I didn't want to cause a big scene, so I let it go.
I've won many a bar tab, and I knew that I was capable of taking it down all by myself, and if they have to cheat to beat me , then it doesn't do their bar any credit.

You were wrong. They are under no compulsion to turn their cards over. Pay attention to the dealer.

Okay, except I was the dealer, and the girl that was sitting next to the SB turns the river card. I never saw her burn a card, and they never showed me the burn card. They mucked the cards too quickly. To add to my conspiracy theory I saw the BB flash her cards to the girl that was sitting on the button. They cheat.
In fact, I am just guessing that it was the girl on the button that pulled the river card. I never saw it happen.
Before this becomes one of those threads where I say that I am right, and I say that everybody else is wrong - Can somebody please be kind enough to give me an URL that has the wsop rules of play so I can figuire this out?

These games are kind of bar dangerous especially if the participants are a little drunk, I've attended games in football betting as well, usually we say what we should not talk and the result is sometimes disastrous, if the environment is so friendly okay ...:)

Add this then;

These girls wanted your body. Tell us, was there cleavage involved?
LOLOL.There's always plenty of cleavage and alcohol at my table, but there was also a lot of camaraderie & collusion between the 3 of them, and they stuck that Qc right under my nose when I wasn't looking.
They didn't want me to break up their trio. If anybody asks Monday night why I couldn't pull that one down by myself, I'll say they couldn't handle it and they had to cheat.

In my humble opinion, I've learned that home games/non-regulated games are not to be taken seriously....go into them expecting to lose. People, MOST people, play home games not to "crush" the opposition, but merely to socialize and have a good time.

I am sure there are private/home games that are taken a bit more seriously, but, things like this are not worth getting hung up over. If you are looking to make money/learn the game/gain experience, play at a casino.

Whenever I play in a home game, I make sure I know people there, I know what the atmosphere is like, and I try to go in knowing what to expect out of the other players. That makes me choose between my poker bankroll and my entertainment funds :)

Just my two cents :)

What? I'm kind of guessing at what you are trying to communicate - it seems incomplete but is confusing, nonetheless, here's some rules -

http://www.lasvegasvegas.com/poker/rrpprinter.php

http://www.wsop.com/poker-rules/index.asp

But this does no good unless there is some prior agreement that those are the rules everyone has agreed to follow.

Are you saying some else dealt the turn or river before betting?
Keep those cars in your hand then at that location.

"15. If the dealer prematurely deals any cards before the betting is complete, those cards will not play, even if a player who has not acted decides to fold."

I found one - "Losing hands must be killed by the dealer before the pot is awarded to the winning hand." They cheated.

Le sigh.

First and most important thing's first - if you're the dealer, but somehow the deck has gotten out of your control, then you only have yourself to blame. It's your responsibility as the dealer to keep control of the cards.

And if you're the dealer and you haven't been dealing in a manner that makes it clear which are the burn cards and which are the muck, then again, you only have yourself to blame. It should have been obvious whether or not there was a burn card.

Here's a link to Robert's Rules of Poker to help you handle irregularities next time: http://www.homepokertourney.com/roberts-rules-of-poker.htm

I had two pair K's & T's after the flop
she had KQ
The other guy had a club flush draw
The river is a Qc. The guy gets the side pot, and she gets all
the rest.
FWIW I forgot to mention that I was the only guy at the table bounty on his head, but I'm over it anyways now.
