A couple of crazy hands late in the Sun. majors

I stayed up late last night & watched a few of the big Sunday tourneys as they played out to the final tables & eventual winners.

Some crazy spots & some HUGE paydays!

First hand here - this was the Final Table bubble hand in the 5th Anniversary $5mil.guar. on pokerstars. (a final table 9plyr. chop was made so the difference between '10th' & 9th was HUGE!!! ~300-500k difference from going out in 10th). Incidentally, most of the players on that final table were micro players & some with very poor results (ie. roi-50% !!). This guy who went out in 10th was by far one of the better players left in it.

2-outer on the River!!! OUCH!!!!!!! (this hand would be haunting me for a very long time!)

The player who won this hand went on to pick up a payday of ~$800k (not sure exactly what the payday was for the guy who lost it.... I think it was either 27k or 40k, somewhere in that range).

And another very sick hand, this one is final table of $1.5mil guar. on FTP

And here's another really sick hand on the final table of the $1.5mil. guar. 7 players left, top2 ended up chopping for just a little bit over $400k each. Player with 'KK' in this hand was one of the guys who ended up getting HeadsUp & picked up over $400k. What a difference one sick hand can make as far as payouts go.
I'm saving this one as a reminder that it's not so bad getting badbeat in a Cardschat donkament

Those are some sick hands and definitely some very sick payouts. I don't know what I woulda done if I had been the guy to bubble the final table like that and get 30-40k vs 800k. Pretty awesome of those guys to chop the prize pool between the 9 of them!
