5nl just means with a maximum buy-in of 5 dollars, usually with either blinds of .02/.04 or .02/.05. 10nl is .05/.1, etc.

600nl would most likely be played with blinds 3/6

Usually, the max buy in is 100x the bb.

Personally, I prefer the Poker Tracker nomenclature instead of 10NL and the like. In the case of $0.02/$0.05 NL and $0.05/$0.10 NL on poker stars, they both have a max buy-in of $10, so here 10NL is ambiguous and doesn't really tell you the exact stakes. NL($0.05) and NL($0.10) are more clear in this respect.

Yeah, but usually in these cases, with deep stacks, most people will call it by 100bb's. So stars $0.02/$0.05 Becomes NL5(deep)
