I'm finding 10NL a lot harder than 5nl and i'm more than adequately rolled for it. Just make sure that you're bankroll can handle it, I personally wouldn't move up until I had 20 buy-ins, so $200.

At least 20, and I'd prefer 30 myself. But I'm kinda a bankroll nit.

I wouldnt buy in with anything less than 20 or your really kinda short stacked. You lose out on one hand and your in serious trouble.

He's not talking about how much he should buy in for, but how big his bankroll should be before he moves up to the next limit.

As for the OP, I agree with c9 in that I feel much more comfortable over 20 buy-ins, about 25-30 before I move up.

Meh, if you feel comfortable and confident you can beat it, and are willing to move back down if you lose a few buy ins then I don't see why not.

If u dont mind re-depositing, the money doesnt mean much to you or u are comfortable dropping down as soon as u hit a rought spot then yeah 15 is plenty.

If on the other hand u dont like dropping down or re-depositing then wait for 20-30min and when u get a litle higher in stakes id wait for 40min.
But yeah like c9 im a BR nit :).

Yes, if that means you're willing to redeposit if needed.

Yeah, when I was losing a lot of money online by not being disciplined. I found myself continuously redepositing. I was playing stupid, didn't have HUD, didn't take online poker seriously until I found myself $1600 in the hole.

The advice given here at this forum will help you, but only if you take the advice seriously. It took me 2 years to finally follow the advice given.

I'm finding myself now after practicing patience, bankroll management, pot odds, outs %, reads, and taking the advice given to me seriously. I'm consistently winning now.

I would wait until you have around 20, maybe even 23-24 buy ins. This way you can take some variance if things don't go your way. All in All, 10nl is very close to 5nl, but the play still is not very good.
