Event 39- 50K horse has started.
Who do you think is gonna win?
Can chip defend his title?
Do you think it should become the official championship of poker instead of the ME?

I'd like to see either Ivey or Greenstein win it, and they are both more than capable of doing so. My darkhorse is Greg Mueller who has been playing really well during the Series so far. I know his Limit/NL games are very good, not sure about the others though, but I'd like to see him go far.

Do you think it should become the official championship of poker instead of the ME? Who says the ME is the "offivial" championship of poker?

The ME Champ is almost always recognized as the "World Poker Champion" in most media outlets.

The HORSE Champion should be considered the World Champ. I'm glad that the final table will continue to be HORSE this year than TV Hold 'Em.

That would be my dream event to play in. I won't even venture a guess at the eventual winner, though I'd love to see Annie Duke take it down.

Remind me to play Razz against Sammy Farha if ever given the opportunity. From Card Player coverage: "Sammy Farha was eliminated during the Razz level, when his 10-8-5-2-A couldn't beat David Oppenheim's 7-6-5-2-A."

Razz is where eli eleza won most his chips. I think there are only 6 or 7 women in the event.

Even better check out pokernews's play by play on this hand. Farha raised with 55xx showing on 6th into David who had 652A showing. LOL

Toto is from the Gus Hansen, Gavin Smith school of any 2 (or 4 i suppose lol) cards.
Allen Cunningham 10/10 player
Eli Elezra another agressive player, cant wait to see his HU with Scotty Nguyen in the 7card Stud Hi/Lo - sounds a laugh.
Mike Matusow - a heck of a lot better player than people think i believe.
Phil Ivey - Mr Grumpy but all round Poker machine :D

Who's going to win - no idea :)

I'm too lazy to check. Taking the day off.

Is this a limit game? If so I think that the chips stacks shown above say this is still wide open.

Daniel Negreanu Eliminated in 21st Place

(7 Card Stud) Daniel Negreanu and Bruno Fitoussi are heads up, and Daniel Negreanu is all in on fifth street. Here's how the hands look:

Negreanu has the lead with two pair, jacks and eights, but Fitoussi has an overpair with a pair of aces, and if he pairs any of his cards he'll take the lead.

Negreanu receives the

Negreanu's last card doesn't improve his hand, and Fitoussi glances at his final card before revealing -- the

Fan favorite Daniel Negreanu is eliminated in 21st place, and the crowd gives him a hearty round of applause. As a professional poker player, Negreanu has faced defeat many times with great poise, but today, he seems a bit frustrated by this loss.

this is also a 50k buy in and not a 10k buy in, and this field is a little tougher to get through, you are not sitting with 9 unknowns, or maybe 8 and 1 known, here you most likely will be sitting with 8 known players if you play.

for this kinda buy in 2 mil is very good.
