Hey Chatters,

Since I have had a 2nd round ticket on the pokerstars Newton, etc tourneys which is three months old; And, recently won another, ticket, I as PS Support how long the tickets are good for.

Here is the response PS Support sent me. For those who, like me, are not sure:

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your Email.

The Weekly Round 2 event entries are "Ticket" based. Any Weekly Round
2 tournament will only accept a "WR2 Freeroll" ticket as an entry. You are
not required to use your Weekly Round 2 ticket(s) right away; they do not
expire and can be used in any future Weekly Round 2 event.

You can view your collection of tickets (if any) from the main menu of the
PokerStars software, under:

Requests -> Tournament Tickets

We currently offer two "Weekly Round 2" events, on Saturday at 10:00
ET and Sunday at 14:00 ET. Each has a $2000 prize pool which is entirely
funded by PokerStars.

Good luck in your Weekly Round 2 events, and thank you for playing on
PokerStars. If you have any questions regarding this, or any other matter,
please do not hesitate to contact us.

Regards,

Dean

I have several round 2 tickets saved up about 9 i believe and I won them back at the first of the year and havent used them and I just checked and there still good but I have to say for me its not worth bothering with its sucha waste of time you play for 3 or 4 hours or longer to win the ticket just to get in and play for several more hours jsut to win a little bit of cents if your lucky... too much work for too little award alot better to make a small deposit and play micro buy ins until you can build your bankroll and move up thru the money good luck to you

Too much work for too little money.

yea,

I can see your point.

Like I said in my Thread, I did not finish in the money on two of the tickets.

Only reason I played, and specially Limit was I was playint two games at once and was looking for a third to sign up and play at same time.

So, along came the Newton Limit Omaha so I signe up. Did not really care if I won or not. But, kept hitting on cards.

I would say, play the no limit, and play agressive. If you lose just go on down the road. If you can build up a big stack, sit out and see if you blind out to the ticket.

But, definately no Limit games. Unless you have lots of time on your hand.

Good luck

The only reason to play these freerolls is to gain some experience in games you are not familiar with and are learning. Razz and other stud games are played here and where I practiced them. Other than that it is a waste of time. bodog has a $500 freeroll 3 times a day and is much more satisfying. I played in the PS ones and after 8 hours won 60 cents.

Lots of time!!

I agree with the one poster. You put in several hours winning these free tickets , then you play several more hours to only win .30 cents. I have not heard of anyone winning the bigger money there. I'm sure someone has to be winning the top five hits. I guess. I never have. It seems they let you win to get you a few cents then you star an incredible lose streak. Only to end up with a few pennies. The whole thing is a waste of time, unless you get really lucky. But hey, it's free and it's fun just to play. So why not? Good luck.
