 Well after a couple of weeks of discussion and research, I haven't been able to find a hand with more than "25 outs" on the river.

Can anyone think of one?

There are many ways to get 25, I think about 884 ways of ending up with 25 outs, that I've been able to find, but 25 does seem to be the maximum number of "outs" one can have on the river.

If you can think of one with more post it and I'll take a look at it....we thought we had some hands with 26, but they turned out to be 25 also... so be careful.

K-Q-J-10 diamond or any suit. outs 9 diamonds and 3 of each A_K_Q_J_10_9 = 27 outs if opponent has 23 not diamond and table has 5778 not diamonds get 3 times 6 or 4 and 2 times 5 or 8 and 1 time 7 as extra 11 outs on this hand.for total of 38 outs :)

First in order to have any "outs", you must be behind in the hand after the flop...so when was it that KQ was behind 2,3?

Please explain, give a example, I don't understand at all what you are trying to say here, and really question "38 outs"

didn't you already start a thread where someone showed you how to get 26 outs? why start another thread asking for the same thing?

I'll answer my own 1st question...you did already make a thread like this in which another member showed you how to have 26 outs. At which point you aknowledged that he was right and that a hand could have 26 outs. so i have to go back to my second question.....why start another thread asking the same thing?

Yeah, he did. I was the one everyone believed was right but it turned out I was wrong, even though I was the only one that noticed it.

I forgot to discount one of the flush outs in my example, because they would give the better hand a full house.

My example was: flopping an open ended straight draw on a paired board vs an underpair to the board.

IE. KsQs on a Js Ts Td flop vs 2d 2c. I assumed KsQs had 9 flush outs, 6 extra straight outs, 3 kings, 3 queens, and 3 jacks for 24 outs, but I forgot to discount the 2s, which gives the deuces a boat. As such, KsQs only has 23 outs on the flop.

Any non-spade card from 3 to 8 on the turn increases the outs by 2, giving KsQs 25 outs.

Hence the repost. He wants to know if there is a 26 out situation. Good luck to him, as I'm out of ideas. :)

ah well good for you for catching your mistake. I still however don't see the need for another thread when the first is still valid.

Agreed, though the title of the first thread was a little hard to understand (just his username with a happy face).

Anyways, I'm done with trying to figure out 26 outs, as I'm about 98% sure 25 outs on the turn is the max you can have.

LOL. Me too. Is hero playing omaha and villain playing Holdem? In that case, villain has 6 outs? I'm confused.
