I have racked what few brain cells I have left to find a witty. knock-em-dead post for this momentous occasion. It appears that I will never post again if I wait for that to happen.
So instead I thought I would give my feelings and observations of this wonderful website. I first joined Cardschat in November of 2005. Just getting involved in online poker and being a "freeroll whore" I think I played in one freeroll and then went away.
After playing online poker for a year or so I rediscovered Cardschat and only then was able to appreciate the true value of the abundance of poker information available.
At first I just read the posts and did not post for fear of making a fool of myself. After the kind welcome by some of the folks here and some feedback from some of my early posts, I felt alot more comfortable. I truly believe that the "regulars" on this site are a genuine group of caring, loving people and would make great friends. On the down side, it's almost like the TV show Cheers...it's great to belong...but not as great if everyone DOES NOT know your name. I understand that to be a regular one needs to contribute and post, post, post. I enjoy the banter and the information and to obvious love of the Cardschat regulars and I will continue to be involved and hopefully get to know some of you fine folks a little better.
I look forward to the continued success of this website and thank you.
