I joined with poker host and filled out the registration and made a $100 deposit. I got to the registration part and it said referred by (enter username). I tryed some of the user names above and none worked... It kept saying user not in system. But snoopy17 worked... so i hope that is you, if not someone else named snoopy17 at pokerhost is going to get the $25 after i play my 100 raked hands. Which I'm almost there by the way.

Is there a raked hand requirement or anything?

College kids are broke these days.

POKERHOST = SCAM!!!!

You have been warned. Pokerhost is nothing more than a way to steal your money.

from another forum post said:
So i decide to take a chance on a brand new site, figuring its backed by a sportsbook so what can go wrong. the action there is sparse at best. there is no action above 5/10, limit tables never run and high stakes running is about as likely as receiving a cashout (you'll understand later). i do a solid amount of winning for the first 20 days making several cashouts along the way. each cashout takes well over a week to hit my neteller account. each cashout requires MANY emails and phone requests, until one day my account is locked.

i figure its just a mistake until i talk to joe giavannni who claims to be an operations manager and gino peroli who doesn't have a title. apparently they just cant afford to pay me anymore. i dont understand, they're linked to a sportsbook, how is this possible? i get nowhere with joey and gino so i contact SBG Global (the book they're affiliated with). oscar arte over at the sportsbook says they're in the same building but are not responsible for one another.

so i contact pokerhost back and ask for joey and gino's manager or the owner or someone who can help me. gino tells me this, "we're not allowed to give out the owners name. there's only 12 people in the world who know. if you send me an email i'll forward it to him" WTF does that mean? do you people work for james bond?

i'm in utter shock. i thought for sure this whole deal would just work itself out, but apparently there is still a good amount of corruption in online poker. whoever still has money on pokerhost or the sportsbook should just move to somewhere more reputable. its just not worth the hassle on these smaller crappy sites.

Anyone heard of Poker Lover

I've been playing at PokerLover some. They have a nice site and everything, but I'm confused about their cashout requirements. Anyone else having any luck?

I play at Pokehost too but make sure you read the fine print. If you deposit you have to reach a min req of hands in order to cash out without a penalty. This also goes for any money that you win in freerolls.

Won here last wednesday and thursday... Small field for a freeroll (350 or so) but only paid top 5... But the $40 extra (x2) was nice. See you all there.. or at home on noble..(or roya.... etc)

Yeah, definitely read the fine print on the freerolls. But my advice is to play at the cash tables. Here's a good example why..
If you're a member at pokerhost and you happen to be on the site, you have to check out this hand. Click on any regular table and go to hand replay at the top. then advanced/specify hand #/ then type 1175924. It will replay the hand. Not a bad rake for a small timer like myself!

Wow, Pokerhost is not what it seems... Too much fine print and not enough honesty.. I'll leave it at that! To anyone out there that wants to defend them, please don't do so until you request a payout.
