So i decide to take a chance on a brand new site, figuring its backed by a sportsbook so what can go wrong. the action there is sparse at best. there is no action above 5/10, limit tables never run and high stakes running is about as likely as receiving a cashout (you'll understand later). i do a solid amount of winning for the first 20 days making several cashouts along the way. each cashout takes well over a week to hit my neteller account. each cashout requires MANY emails and phone requests, until one day my account is locked.
i figure its just a mistake until i talk to joe giavannni who claims to be an operations manager and gino peroli who doesn't have a title. apparently they just cant afford to pay me anymore. i dont understand, they're linked to a sportsbook, how is this possible? i get nowhere with joey and gino so i contact SBG Global (the book they're affiliated with). oscar arte over at the sportsbook says they're in the same building but are not responsible for one another.
so i contact pokerhost back and ask for joey and gino's manager or the owner or someone who can help me. gino tells me this, "we're not allowed to give out the owners name. there's only 12 people in the world who know. if you send me an email i'll forward it to him" WTF does that mean? do you people work for james bond?
i'm in utter shock. i thought for sure this whole deal would just work itself out, but apparently there is still a good amount of corruption in online poker. whoever still has money on pokerhost or the sportsbook should just move to somewhere more reputable. its just not worth the hassle on these smaller crappy sites.
