So I was checking the leaderboards on sharkscope and noticed that the top player, jorj95 (pokerstars), played 1,922 tournamets in one day and AVERAGES 354 tournaments/day when playing. This is a bot, right? His statistics are literally inhuman but it makes perfect sense if it is a bot as his ROI is only 1.7% but "he" plays so many games that he has a total buy-in amount of $132,206,990! So even a modest 1.7% ROI means "he" has won $2,284,421! His full stats:

Middle/Late (20%): 18.5%
First Game Date: 07/03/2006 00:38 AM
ITM%: 44.4%
Last Game Date: 06/07/2015 04:51 PM
Total Losing Days: 659
Max Cashing Streak: 19
Max Losing Streak: 38
Max Winning Streak: 11
Most Games / Day: 1,922
PokerStars Tournament Leaderboard Points: 105,623
Av % Field Beaten: 50.7%
Total Rake: $3,026,890
Total Stake: $132,206,990
Total ROI: 1.7%

Turbo Ratio: 99.6%
Total Winning Days: 794
Worst 100 Streak Av Profit: -$790
Worst 500 Streak Av Profit: -$190

Av Entrants: 18.6
Av Games / Day (when playing): 354
Best 100 Streak Av Profit: $1,067
Best 500 Streak Av Profit: $232
Total Break Even Days: 13
Total Cashes: Subscribe
Early Finishes (10%): 15.4%
Early/Middle Finishes (20%): 17%
Late Finishes (10%): 15.9%
Middle Finishes (40%): 33.1%

Is it for real that the TOP player on the Sharkscope leaderboard is a bot? How messed up is that? And why am I bothering to play online poker if I'm just playing against a bunch of bots? This is very troubling to me. Does this concern anyone else? And where the hell is PokerStars security team? Or do they just let bots play now?

I must admit I have played in Mtt's where some play has been a bit suss. Pokerstars say they have a "No bots" policy. I think in fact they do have some but catch up with them in the end.........meanwhile, they have taken your money........I once received a refund from PS because they said "I had been cheated on by 2 bots", so they do catch em...............gl :D:D:D

There's a much more simple explanation than that....

This user simply found a way to bend the space time continuum to their advantage, allowing them a full 3 months to run that one day's tournaments. It's just a shame that as a result, he has aged 40 years this month.

I think we can put this craaaaazy bot theory to rest now.

That sounds all well and good but this bot has been playing since 2006 and has taken down over $2 million in profit.

You beat me to it Dave, lol.

I would say at least 95% of Jorj95's volume is 6max hyper-turbo satellites. These are games that you can easily 12-16 table, and have a super fast structure.

The (old) blind structure for 6max hyper-turbo satellite SNGs on stars

500 chip starting stacks, Blinds go up every 2 minutes.

25/50 Ante 10
50/100 Ante 20
100/200 Ante 40
200/400 Ante 80

Also take into account that the top 2 players in each game get the same payout, so there is no headsup play. Because of this, these games usually don't take longer than 5-6 minutes, meaning you can get in a massive # of games in a short period of time by playing 6max hyper turbo satellites. The downside being that these games are very hard to make decent money at due to the variance in them, most grinders at them are just playing for rakeback.

A lot of Jorj's graph is also FPP hyper-turbo sats won, which add to his profit total as pure profit. With the amount of FPPs he has earned over the years, that adds up to a lot.

Jorj is NOT a bot lol! He's also a Team Pokerstars Pro, all hell would break loose if people found out Pokerstars was letting one of their very own sponsored players use a bot in games.

You keep saying bot, where is your proof, it's obvious he's a grinder.

The problem with me believing that this is one real person is the simple math involved. 1,922 tournaments in one day, assuming you don't sleep, would be 80 tournaments per hour for 24 hours straight or one tournament entry every 45 seconds .So let's be generous and say each tournament only takes 15 minutes from start to finish, this means that at any given time he would have to be playing at least 20 tournaments? For 24 hours straight? For reals playa?

Well, at many of those tournaments he can be busted in 1 minute.
And that single day could be some bet probably.

He could very well have pulled a 24 hour session the day he got that number, his average is like 350 which can be gotton in a few hours grinding 20 tables of the hyper turbo 6max satties.

Hell a 24 hour session isn't exactly a rare thing.

Wow... this is crazy, i thought that there could be some bots in PokerStars but this thread prove it .

can we complain regarding this ?

this is not ok..

although, as a human, in a poker game, i would expect to beat the bot . :)

Why don't you do some research?
Maybe start by reading some of the posts on this thread (ie. Trent's post).
Some of your 'assumptions' are way off. (ie. how many hypers last for 15mins.?!?!?!?!)

Then maybe even consider doing some further research on the internet (you know... like google & shee-ite).

Do you mean 'George Lind'? https://www.pokerstars.com/team-pokerstars/george-lind/

It's not do hard to do a bit of research. This took all of about 3seconds to find 'or' you could just pull out a 'bot' theory and then just start referring to this person as a 'bot' over & over because you aren't capable of considering what's involved and can only base it off of your own experience (< yes.. that part was my assumption).

Your 'Bot' also took a 6th place finish in the 2011 wsop $50k Player's Championship & in same year a 2nd in the WSOP $10k Omaha H/L Championship.

I wonder when he's going to make this available to others & how much he's going to be charging for it? (does the Stars patch come included in the package?)

On 888 they would take it all.

No, you just fail to understand how to correctly calculate the rake %.....it has nothing to do with profits it has to do with buyins and the % of buyins you have made that goes to rake.

This guy bought into 131 million $ worth of tournaments and paid 3 million in rake, and profited 2 million........... based on your gripe with 888 you would be complaining here that pokerstars took 60% of his profits :p
