This is a discussion on Zoom poker Line check within the online poker forums, in the Cash Games section; 5nl Zoom poker on Ignition.
Just want to know if this is spewy or borderline ok?
All effective stacks are 100bb
I am in the SB
Seems fine/std to me. Hard to see if the jam is an overbet because then we can bet 3 streets. Make it 50c pre oop btw

Yeah jam was a kinda large overbet, thats what I dont like but figured I would only have about 80c left and im probably jamming most rivers anyways?
Do you still think this line is standard against complete unknown (no stats no reads)?

re: Poker & Zoom poker Line check
If you know the villain will stack off with with TT - QQ, they will probably stack off with hands like J10s, QJs, KJs or AJ as well, and all those hands may call a 3bet on the button.
The only hands you are worried about are JJ 66 33 and on the turn 88, perhaps J8s or slow played AA
There are a lot more combos of hands you are getting value from than you are behind to.
You could check call the turn, but that leaves you with less than a half pot bet behind. Check folding would be bad as would bet folding given the range of hands you think villain will stack off with and the SPR.

I agree with duggs.
You are OOP and you should 3bet larger, something like 50c-55c.
I don't like so much jamming there.Sometimes villain will fold some Jx and all the under pair(you are repping too much strength)so you will lose value there. But if you 3barrel then you will get called more often.
If villain have a set, then that's poker. But you want to keep in his medium strength hands in and the only scary cards are an A and a J.
