Hey,
Would you guys suggest zoom poker for players who are pretty new to the game? Is it a good way to learn because you play a lot of hands per hour?

Zoom will teach you bad habits. It will teach you to play tight, I guess, but playing tight is a lesson you can learn without the bad habits that Rush will teach you. Once you have a solid grasp of the game you can move over and probably do alright there. When you are learning you should concentrate on decision making and situational awareness. That is not what happens in Rush.

Rush is the full tilt equivalent of Zoom btw.

Yeah dont play zoom, its full of nits and regs. Just open a normal ring game and play away.

Playing zoom is the way to learn to play zoom. The degree to which you can generalize to learning to play poker, even excluding tournaments, is player-dependent since some people are simply better or worse at making the appropriate adjustments.
