So I've been playing morning regs at 10nl for a while now and beating their asses by refusing to stack off with just a tp(over a lol sample but whatever). I sat down during peak hours and saw over and over again people c/r with tp weak ass kicker and getting full stacks in the middle with it! They were mostly new faces so I didn't have them tagged as uber fish but now I find myself in a weird place where I really don't want to stack off with my tp even tho i know they're fish.

So when I get c/r'ed I can call the raise without being committed but they're most likely gonna fire the turn even with their j10 top pair. So whats the play? Keep folding it until i have a couple hundred hands of them being a jackass or just start getting it in whenever stp is good enough? I guess a third option is the min raise.

dont min raise. I think the majority of the responses on this is going to be along the lines of "it depends." Post an actual hand and I think itll be easier to make a decision.

However, when you see ppl stacking off super agg with TPNK then take a note of it. That way when your in a hand with like bottom two, TPGK etc then we can let them GII and call it off then type "ty" into the chatbox lol

Just had an idea.

I think that raising smaller preflop would make my strategy more effective my increasing stp and making the majority of my folds which come on the flop less costly. I folded away about 250bb last night without even getting to see a damn showdown but if I raised smaller it might only have been 150bb. Gonna try it.

depends on your position and hand really. what are your standard raise sizes right now?

Raising smaller makes for smaller pots, which makes for smaller wins/losses depending on whether you are profitable.

Also consider that if you raise 2.5x pre when you have strong hands but call a 3x raise with slightly weaker hands then you will be playing larger pots with your weaker hands albeit in position.

Nooooo, raise size is better depending on your own ranges, your reason is a stupid reason to downsize raises, because you win less for the times you lose less... Also you're playing 10nl fish, raising smaller is NOT what you want to do, please dont down size your raises until youre at 50nl+ and even then it all depends on your ranges. I'd be willing to bet my roll that downsizing raises at these stakes will hinder your WR than increase it

Usually folding is best unless you have a good reason to think they are usually weaker than you are. Maybe look at their cr% over a decent sample before adjusting. Calling is bad if you expect to fold to turn aggression. I might make an exception on a 2 suited flop vs. A gambler, but that is about it.

1) Tag every one of them as fish immediately
2) Stack them with TPGK+

How hard can it be?

with an aggressive player like that if you have a good read on them i would push to where they would most likely fold or if they call make sure you have a the top kicker..... on the other hand i never play a6 a7 a8 i just never call the bb cause if you do catch an ace you will never know if you are good

It's even weirder that the dude who bumped it has been a member since 2010 and all of his posts are from today and only one sentence long or less lol (most of them being one word) .

lol

if your getting check raised you have already failed to exercise pot control. The correct move would be to check back under the assumption that your opponent will raise incredibly light. You believe that your hand has showdown value but you aren't prepared to call multiple streets, therefore you check back. If your actually strong, then you get the chips in as quickly as possible. If they are stacking off with top pair no kicker and you can't figure out how to exploit that, its time to pick a new game
