tourny just started 10/20 blinds I have the button first guy limps in with A10 another guy raises to 180 with QQ i have KK and i reraise to 360 the A10 calls the QQ raise to allin I call and the A10 calls. If I had QQ i would call with no hesitation but the gut with A10 wtf is he thinking.
2 guys are raising and rerasing, you got to think if 1 guy has a small pair the other one will have at lease AJ AQ AK and you are dominated just let it go but no he calls the allin and sure enough he flops his Ace.
Why is that people who play with no thought always flop the cards?
They confuse their luck to good poker play.

If its a freeroll tourny people a likely to do this with pretty much any 2 cards. The fields are so large they like to try & double/treble up as often as possible.

They might just also not know too much about poker. Either/Or.

Not a call I'd make with A 10 suited even. But sort of reiterating Vintage's comment here. It depends on the type of tourney. Even with your kings early on in a freeroll like that you can't really be assured of people respecting any sort of raise/reraise in any position. People play chip grab so you've got 2 assume 2 other callers. All in with KK, 2 callers and worst hand wins. Next freeroll please!

How about this one.....

Tounry was mid way blinds 100/200 (or around) theres about 600 ppl left, I have the button with big slick unsuited....guy in third position have been going all in for the last 4 hands with junk (bought the first 2 but was called the last two and sucked out both times) it's obvious that he wants to leave. So he does it again 6K in chips ( has me covered), everyone else folds....I called...he had 9 4 suited caught a 9 on the flop and I'm done....

would you have called?

What kind of tourny is it? I am guessing freeroll becasue if it was for an actual buy-in no one would be trying to give there chips away so they could leave. So yes make the call because you can not ask for a much better starting hand. You know no matter what that you are dealing with a race situation.

the money a player loses doesn't go to the site it goes to another player.
the poker site makes money from the rake which is about 3-5 % of the deposits .they dont care who wins or loses a hand
I dont know why people think the sites are rigged. there is no advantage for the company to do so, and oh yeah ITS ILLEGAL !!!!

Uh yeah, in a heartbeat. Would have also called him with most A-xs or K-xs. Why? Cos he's an idiot. The fact you lost is just unlucky, but its the right move versus that particular player.

I toss A 10 all the time. I get beat more with aces than any other card.

The site might not care who wins or loss but they sure rig the cards being dealt.
As you said they make money off the rake so if everytime 3-5 players see a flop and they all catch something either a pair or a draw its an action flop triggering most players to bet or call. Then when the player with the worst hand pulls a river to win everyone thinks that the cards will come on the river so they keep calling with nothing on the following hands.
That way the trake gets bigger.
Think about it, how many action flops you get in a real game and how many you get online?

On the one hand you are saying that the sites rig action flops, yet your evidence is people going all in preflop with hands that you say any decent player would have folded.

You are a fool if you think it's rigged and you are a bigger fool if you think it's rigged and keep playing.

I don't get what the problem is here. Don't you actually want A10 to call you? I mean you are not raising w/ KK in hopes of opponents folding, you want them to call and bust. Too bad A got paired and you suffered a bad beat.

If this were a really loose table and he had called an 8s9s and a 77 we would be saying that he was brilliant in recognizing the table. You have to play to the weaknesses of the table. Not to say that I would have made that call when two people re-raise me. I wouldn't, unless I had a big chip lead and thought I knew my opponents.

Crazy Players

Some people tend to go allin with Ace-ANYTHING....See a few times they just call & don't care & get really lucky when an ace comes & beats high pocket pairs. But after a while they come to believe that A-junk is actually powerful & begin to call allin bets with just an Ace...it's really sad when they win, but after a while they'll lose their money when their luck runs out!

Call or not?

It happens, it's these people who'll pay you off when they call with hands like that.
