Why wouldn't you bet the turn? A flop call to a CB doesn't indicate anything, he could make that call with a wide range. Sure the flush hits, but a flush draw is only a small piece of his range at this point. Especially if you had been aggressive at the table, he may feel the need to defend his BB, making his range even wider.
A bet on the turn gives you information. I know the reasoning behind a check is to keep the pot small, but it can put you in a tough spot on the river. And in fact, it prevents you from losing a larger amount in some situations.
I would bet another 1/2 pot on the turn. A re-raise would prob mean a flush. Any other hand that beats you would prob have led out on the turn to avoid giving a free card w/ 3 to flush already on the board. A call would likely mean a hand, but I wouldn't be too worried that it has you beat.
If checked, you can't put them on a hand, at least not with a whole lot of accuracy.
