Hello,
I have a question to cash players.
What is Your winrate (BB/100hands) on stakes You are playing?
I would be glad to see stats from now and historical, or maybe someone have some info from another players :)

I think to start learning more about cash games and start to playing it regular at the expense of tournament games. I would like to know how is winrate of other players and calculate how long should I play per day and how many tables per session to achieve satisfying results.

Of course It's only information for me, and my winrate will be examined when I start to playing cash. But I would like to have some preliminary insights.

It's important to differentiate between BB/100 and bb/100

The first, originally meant 'poker tracker big bets/100 hands'
the second meant 'big blinds/100 hands'

Poker Tracker 4 lists the stat BB/100, but strangely it's actually bb/100 that the stat reflects.

The original version of BB/100 (or PTBB/100) means that at a value of 5, you are winning one buy in per 1000 hands

Another thing to note is that the concept of 'big bet' comes from limit poker, but the stat BB/100 is one used by big bet players too.

At 2NL 6-max zoom, my win rate is 7bb/100 over 50k hands. This means I've won $70 at the 1c/2c tables (plus rakeback).

Unfortunately, my win rate at 5NL is -2bb/100 and at 10NL it is 0bb/100. I am still struggling to beat these stakes.

Thanks for the info. Do You play with some specyfic strategy (Exact ranges and specific sizing) or you only make decisions according to Your experience?

I have my own strategy that has been paying off for me. I studied the game a lot and molded my own technique. A few concepts to bear in mind to make profit...

Position Awareness
Aggression
Flop Turn and River Representation with scare cards
3bet & 4bet with a wide range, but knowing your opponent and when to do so.. fold to 3bet cbet is very useful knowing for villain.

and more stuff

see this month's profit for 10nl on picture below. Feel free to message me if you need pointers

I've played poker since I was around 8, but I've just recently started looking more seriously at the game. Do most people who use poker tracker or other similar resources count their hands played at live games, possibly logging specific hands, or do most simply just estimate an average amount of hands/hr? Online it is obviously much easier, but is putting the effort of manually tracking all your hands in live games worth it? Not sure if its common practice.
