The tournament scum will preach that they are better for their trophies or their bravery but really they are just addicts, junkies of the thrill and glory. They have no clue what it is to have to discipline to gain no joy from poker and yet still hit the tables day after day. They have no clue what it is to DO POKER not PLAY POKER. They are slaves to their urge for exhilaration. If they do play cash games, their addiction makes it so that they cannot enjoy big tables or if they do 9-max they need at least 5 tables to feel 'mentally stimulated'.

They get limited hands in a tournament and their good plays early on mean nothing to their plays on the final 15-21 hands. Someone is almost always much luckier throughout the tournament than the other 2 in the final 3 with them meaning that regardless of skill, their stack is bigger by the end and their idiocy is rewarded with the ability to be abusively big no matter what they have. I have been the big stack at the end of a tournament, it is so nice to watch the other squirm beneath my bets, to bleed them dry of any happiness and chips. Yet, how often will I really be there at the end? The coinflip allins will come to screw me over in the long run no doubt! Within given time I can make GUARANTEED income if I play very disciplined cash games as there's no pressure ot ever play bad hands. :D

Oh the beauty of cash game, we are the superior ones.

Grinding is grinding at the end of the day whether tournies or cash.

I think cash players try and learn the heart and soul of poker and dig deeper to understand what its all about. But thats a biased cuz its all an art form either way.

But some tourney players are just lazy looking for the big win.

Games always based on skill and luck and it always brings the fish the luckside and anyone can win.

Why do you feel the need to feel superiour in playing cash games instead of tourneys? I'm a recreational player that enjoys both and I've never saw anyone have that attitude? This isn't a forum of devisiveness, if you truley feel that way, why do you need to state it? There are many topics to choose from here, being nasty isn't one of them. :)

A truly great poker player will be adept in both cash, tournament, and heads-up play. As well as other variants. Guess you're not there yet. Keep grinding; I believe in you. ;)

This is exactly the kind of comeback the tournament fan will give!

I can imagine you wasting your money on prostitutes while I don't need penis size because of my income I am not wasting foolish one hahahhaaha!

Also, if I had a tiny penis I wouldn't play better or worse poker. My penis is a good size to be honest with you.

I can play tournaments, I'm brilliant at not bubbling if I really try hard. :) It's all luck after a while though because blinds get too big and you drown in the coinflip mentality! :)

Not if you know how to adjust your play according to the different stages of the tournament. :) But, I am no pro by any means, cash, tournament, or otherwise - I play for fun, when I have time, which these days is next to non-existent :(. I do however, have a healthy dose of common sense, and that tells me that when people belittle or berate another group just for being different, or for not doing things "their way", it's usually because they don't understand it, and that instills an uneasiness that causes them to lash out unjustifiably. :)

Sure sure, that's why Kung fu masters always beat karate masters. It's not just 'different' some styles are genuinely full of smarter people than others due to how they work.

Seems like our rational madman there doesnt need uneasiness to lash out at aces2win (or others) these past few days. Most people on this forum are trying to improve, and madman just spews bullshitwhithout backing it up with arguments/stats/... Or straight up insults them.

How many people will he have to insult before he is silenced? I honestly like some drama once in a while but it's kind of getting kind of pathetic. In my opinion it creates too much negativity in cash strategy, which primarily should be a place to learn, give feedback and discuss in an environment where people respect each other.

I think he started with 2k and ran it up a few. Reminds me of ne when i first started. I had no clue what i didnt know but was still winning. He was the guy who pencilled in his graph

Thing is my luck ran out and figured i was good at the game and had to learn a lot more.

I think hes taken a backstep i have seen him still around ao perhaps hes plugging away and improving :)

But i can see how easy it is to fall into that trap especially getting a casino heater right at the beginning
