This is coming from self experience and it boils down to bankroll Management. In order to successfully build a bankroll, keep playing the freerolls until you have a reasonable amount. If you plan for cash games, 1 cent/ 2 cent requires at least $20 to safely climb steadily over time. If tournaments, double that because the swings can't get anymore wilder than that (unless you are talking about No Limit Omaha). Keep saving up the cash you win to keep on stacking!

Sincerely,

I agree with that, my main problem is that I play before I've accumulated enough of a bankroll. I always plan on reaching a certain amount but can never help myself

Try combining freerolls with the game for money. But play at the same time the same format - MTT or MTSNG.

Freeroll Bankroll

https://i.gyazo.com/0a00b46fd92ca686e3fe09875a3f5e36.jpg now a win like this, then you can gamble a little. but within Bankroll Management

Nice win! I have money on 4 sites right now. My biggest bankroll is at about $40.00. My smallest is at about $7.50. The other two site's bankroll is somewhere in between that. My bankroll on all 4 sites I play is all 100% freeroll money. I have not deposited a single penny on any of those sites. I think statistically you will have a better chance building freeroll bankroll by finishing somewhat well in an MTT freeroll and then parlaying that into a roll by grinding penny poker. After my MMT wins I grind out a freeroll bankroll by playing penny poker for the most part. On average I am probably winning around a buck or two per session, with an occasional bad run here and there. So far I have done well with penny poker. You just need to be smart about the hands you play and how you play them. People seem to just throw away money on the penny tables.

Good advice. I think $10 may be enough to start.

Money won by hard work on freerolls will be more offensive to lose in cash games, probably it's good))

I would say a safe BR to build is $40, once you get that doing FRs you have a lot more wiggle room.

Against skilled players, NL omaha is probably unbeatable. But micro NLO is a cash bucket. All you need to do is dip your hand in and pull it out. It's swingy, but so easy
