Never played a single hand w/ villain so I don't have any reads.

Uber-aggression is what this guy used when he was OOP w/ MPGK & faced up against the NUTz.

Being OOP sucks as it is but when you call a pre raise w/ a hand that could easily be dominated, that's just a double whammy IMO. When a player doesn't have any reads on another player, you have to make your decisions based on what? The way they are betting? How long they take to bet? What your gut says to do? Mathematics of the hand? I'm wondering these things because villain has really made me think to myself "what the fk was that all about?"

I guess he thought I was bluffing on every street that I bet

LOL

If I had anything other than the "NUTz" there I might've folded.

This just happened to be 1 of those times that his aggression was @ the wrong place & wrong time.

Yeah, lack of aggression tends to make me lose small pots over a longer period of time but its been over-aggression which has caused me to lose my big pots, especially when I have a lot of my stack in and I know I'm beat I'll sometimes just try to power my way through and this has cost me. What you need is selective aggression - enough aggression to be able to get paid off when you've got the hands, but aggression against people who can't fold or nits who are playing back at you is just dumb.

aggressive means playing like a jackal. if you are saying uber aggressive, then i suppose u will be jamming up the pot so much that the whole table will just play tight and trap you. so playing this style will allow you to win alot of the blinds but will still lose out when one of the other players actually gets a hand.all he needs is to wait for your big raise and then he reraises you all in

I think even knowing the abc after you went all-in was pretty clear that you had something dangerous, but these are the guys i love to play against( especially on plo when they get mad with a pair of aces)

Uber aggression just takes the skill away. Aggression is the equalizer between the skill players and the non skilled players.
