I'm really looking to advance my 1/2 game I can beat house games but every time I go in the poker room I get a little more antsy and I am looking for a tutor that can Crush 1/2 live games to teach me to crush 1/2 live games... I don't care about 2 5 or 5:10 or anything else I only want to dominate one to right now thank you in advance. Please point me in the right direction of effective learning possibilities. thank you

I might be willing to tutor you. Feel free to see my posts (you can kinda see where my thought processes have changed over the years) Message me if you are interested, and we can talk. And yes, I crush 1/2.

The best person to learn from is yourself. That is why when pressed a psychologist will tell you they are acting like a mirror. Teachers and tutors do this too. They observe your play and make suggestions for correcting mistakes etc. I am sure there are plenty of qualified willing tutors on here but remember that even with a teacher you should still be note taking, reviewing, being honest with yourself etc..When I played 1-2 live for a living I cleared 3k a month in winnings and collected around 500 to 800 in free money(a lot of it in free slot play that I converted to cash and cashed out the second it was cleared). If you run into a regular on the tables keep in mind I had 900 in chips with me and 1000 in cash on average. I could drop 400 to 500 bucks without blinking an eye. If you come to the 1-2 tables thinking you can show up with 200 bucks and start out with 120 on the table you might find yourself in trouble. The point is there are plenty of serious players out there and they are not the same as casual home game players. If your home game is a serious one then you should be fine on live 1-2 tables otherwise you will find yourself getting hit over the head. Good luck

Some time ago,I was very good at 1/2$ cash games so I go into the casino.I tried to play there but I lost.I tried this 4-5 times and this happend. Then ,after some home games,to refill my bankroll,I tried to go at the casino. This time I tried NOT to play for profit, tried to play to improve my skill and to feel good and relaxing.I won, surprising.Advice here, try to not go on 1/2 if u bankroll for poker is 100$ :)and don`t play to make a high bankroll, play to make your skill better and also pay attention to others play style and study them, try to find their "Achille`s heel" and kill them at the table :D.
